questions about spell reflect

So I was in Crucible last night and was having some problems with the named who has the reflect. I had a few questions I was hoping someone could answer.

1. Are all spells reflected? (I was told only status altering spells were reflected, which means the a straight nuke is okay, but a nuke + knockdown is not. I don't think this is correct though.)
2. When a spell is reflected, is it reflected back at the caster or can it hit someone else? (healer, tank, etc)
3. Whats the best strategy for dealing with mobs like this?

True AE abilities aren't reflected. Every other spell does. It is reflected back at the target. Your best strategy is, get lucky.

So the worst case scenario is that I kill myself if I nuke a mob that has reflect.

At least when it gets reflected you can mitigate it. Still storming tempest would suck to get reflected on you.

It's pretty easy to take care of; just pop your cure arcane after the initial hit and it's gone.

as Pinski pointed out, True AEs, (blues) dont get reflected, so no Fission does not as its counted as a blue AE

No, they reflect just like every other non-true ae spell.
