everyone but you agrees that you must be damm lucky to get 100k+ without ring.
Even with ring it is not a common hit.
Dakkota himself says that, and he's better equiped than 95% of the wizards, right ?

Ok
- First, Manaburn will hit for more than 100k, no one ever says what spell is required
- Second, I hit for 70-80k Bolt of Ice/Fissions regularly, and I do not have the ring. Believe me I've tried everything to running the zone some many times my eyes wanted to bleed, to offering up to 600p to get one. I could see someone getting higher on a lucky hit, or with a little bit better gear

But to say it's impossible to hit 100k on one spell without a ring is not completely accurate

Even with all the avatar gear you won't be hitting 100k+ BoI's. And who cares about manaburn?

Manaburn is more an ability than a spell, but that's neither here nor there, unless we are getting into the semantics of it all.

You won't hit 100k BoI without the ring. Pretty sure I topped out at 89k pre-ring, even with the ring, you need timing, a bit of luck, and gear.

Im pretty sure nun of you were there when i did it twice in PotAO on the same raid without the fucken ring. Havent done it once since then that i know of.

Not my problem if you guys havent. But since they were both on the same raid its pretty obvious that the ring isnt the deciding factor here. Or at least the only one.

Why? Some ppl said some things that were wrong and accused me of lying or some thing, w/e.

Fact of the matter is you dont NEED NRoR to hit a BoI for over 100k. That means there is something else to figure out about how its hitting that high. Wish i had a SS of all the debuffs and buffs at the time but i dont.
