In your scenario, there is an equal chance of getting it as having 1% crit.

no sir.. because IF you want to get it you must first get the crit OK ? no crit, no 100K.
then let's suppose that IF you have 100% chance crit, you have 1% chance getting a 100K hit with the right gear.
Then with 1% chance crit you have 0.01 chance to get a 100K hit. 1 for 10 THOUSANDS.

well, anyway who cares ? it is a stupid idea, as the right gear to get a high damage means that you are at 100% !
we all agree but one, and I want that damn ring. Never saw it dropping, and heard about it being sold only once for 900 K PPs

He's just saying it doesn't take a perfect 100% crit to get your bolt of ice that high. I run about 90% crit solo. Getting more crit isn't going to make my bolt of ice hit any higher, it's the base and crit bonus =p. It already crits just about every time. He's just being technical =p

I dont know what the big deal is i got that ring on my third run in there. but it sounds like you guys are having the same trouble i did back when i was trying to get PG to drop... hope all your luck turns around soon though id like to see some of your parses after you snag one.

lol oh shit i didnt see that it was that old... ugh this is what happens when your bored at work :-P. we need to get more new treads out there on the wizard boards then this one was like 5th on the list lol.
