Default Is 62MC an upgrade?

OK, I am a lv55 wizard with easily capped aa. I am in mainly treasured gear from LS which adds loads of spell damage and has almost capped my int.

Me and my friends are about to level to 62 and I am wondering if it is worth my while getting MC gear at that level? I will be loosing spell damage and int if I dobut gaining loads of stam and wis.

Any advice? It seams silly being lv62 and wearing lv45 treasured items.

you are 55, already speaking about 62, then you'll leave all that behind you soon, don't spend time thinking about all that stuff.

edit : I know I don't answer to the question, but I have no idea.

Get the mastercrafted stuff. Its bound to be better than your current treasured stuff.

We are locking at each tier and exploring all the content we can as a 3 man group. Levelling up to 62 will only take me a couple of hours work.

Like I said in my question, the spell damage and int is LOWER than my current stuff. The new treasured items from LS are really good for damage.

I got the rares, I have a Master Jewler and a Master Tailor so it is no problem getting the MC, I just wonder if it is any better.

You just answered your question, gratz.

btw no one knows what the 62 mc stuff looks like, because this is a forum that concentrates on the current content and no one is really interested in what is better because it simply doesn't matter anymore...

WTF are you talking about? Level 62 IS current content.

I suggest you fuck off, get a life or go troll some place else.

Depends on if you are soloing a lot or grouping. If you have been grouping, I would stay stick with what you have.. maybe throw in a few MC pieces if they make sense, but mostly try to retain your SD and Int. Sta/Wis would only be good if you were soloing and needed extra resists and HP... although its not much anyways. I would personally just farm gear out of instances and what not. The most important thing that will boost your dps at that level would be the quality of your spells i'd imagine. I would spend money on upgrading spells first over gear (unless it makes sense to buy the gear) In your case, it doesnt seem to make sense to upgrade it yet.

I think you may be looking at the wrong set of MC gear. I remember the MC gear having the most BOE and INT available at those levels.

You DID answer your question, you're a DD, so in a group you want anything that deals damage as long as you can stay alive with it. -> More Int and BoE = More Dmg

I furthermore suggest you learn to play your class by getting 80 and on that way you might learn what gear is better. By using the search function, you then will find many threads with gear recommendations, because that is current content, since it's lvl 80!

You said it yourself, you'llbe around 60-70 for a week, but you'll stay 80 up to the next expansion, so that is where your major concern should be.

Ye, I was thinking of getting a full set of MC for solo'ing and swapping some items when in an instance group. I already have an AA mirror with a grp spec (basically agi and wis trees) and a solo/pvp spec (agi and stam).

I suppose the basis of my question is "is a lv42 wrist item with 20int and 30spell damage better than a 62 MC wrist with 30 int/wis/stam?"

As for my leveling plan, we are still stuck at 55 waiting on one friend to catch up on AA (two of us are over 100 aa and he is just over 70). We will prob level to 62 soon but will then lock there to explore that content for a while. I already have a full set of T1 shard armour waiting for me at 80 and will prob have a full set of T2 shard gear when I do ding 80 (due to a lv80 alt farming shards).

So, yes there is alot of very good threads about gear at 80, but none explain WHY it is so good (ie when to go for spell damage over int, when to sacrifice both the above for a bit of crit ect) so I can not apply that to lower levels.
