Personally, I think it's a fail that avatars of the Gods are ever easier than instanced crap. Avatars should be the top of the game as long as they are still around.

Given the loot that drops only from contesteds, the harder they are the easier it is to lock them in and choke off the mantra of competition entirely. Not too different from the Goldman Sachs discussion in another thread. It becomes a self-feeding loop that few ever break from the outside.
