Wouldn't you be better off with the belt from Vek2 or KTx2 instead of Xebnok's? Especially if someone else in the raid is wearing Xebnok belt already.

Gynok's parse from last night. Group was wizard, illy, inquis, troub, warlock, swash (I think -- not sure about the swash, might have been the conj in our group).

No avatar items, Vek2 belt, Anashti neck, White dragonscale cloak.

But yeah in a perfect world, I'd use one of the 8% base proc belts.

Why not one of the old-new belts? (Anashti/Ykesha).

Cause I turned Anashti belt into a neck since that neck item is right now (minus munzok i guess) the best neck slot item in the game and though i'm not in a guild who could get the Ykesha belt atm, I'll drop 1 crit bonus and 5% cast speed anyday of the week to get a 2.1k debuff (bigger debuff than our own!) and a damage proc. It's esp nice on AoE targets where not every target is getting debuffed (8+ n stuff) to have an item randomly dropping 2.1k elemental debuffs all over the targets im hitting. Also just more consistent on a target that I can personally keep a mob debuffed by ~4k. I thought about keeping the 125 spell damage belt but, again, i'd still drop 125 spell damage and 1 crit bonus, for the debuff and damage proc that prolly when comparing between a dmg proc and 125 spell damage, in the long run im sure there can't be much more than a double digit difference in their parse ability if there is one.

But without base damage capping (not capping anywhere near consistently) anymore those 8% base dmg procs are pretty uber.

How much dps it did for you on Gynok Dakk? (Xebnok belt). I can't find that proc in your parse

Funeral Pyre, forgot it name, thx Imho that belt is not worth it, especially because it doesn't have 100% hit rate. And that's on AoE encounter, also that debuff get's dispelled a lot at start of the fight. Also since you like to use MB spec it's necessary to get as much crit bonus as you can while it works with manaburn

Looks like with the latest hotfix MB won't be as good anymore without crit bonus affecting it, as well as LB

While it made Manaburn ridiculous it screwed over a lot of stuff. I would start fights with ^^^ heroics and end the fights with grossly low power giving the power regen gear I have. I was soloing the water Djinn in Hollow Tower and his AoE icon read that he hit for 600 - 800 heat dmg. I was getting aoe'd for 2000 - 3000 lmao. So yeah everything was hitting harder than it's suppose to >.>

Also I seem to hit mobs harder anyway with 2.1k debuff than I do 1 crit bonus. Hit a dummy with the crit bonus mount and no debuffs, then hit it without the mount and debuffs lol. I dunno guess its cause its like the old school bone clasped girdle, I just love that effect personally. =O

I hope this fix makes all the wacky shit stop happening, cause the game sure feels weird after gu53.
