He's referring to the Shadow tree, not the Wizard tree. I did the same thing a couple of months ago.

I was thinking of doing the same thing - furnace + ice spears + heatwave debuff + fireshape should make for some quite solid ice comets..

Thats personally why I liked the Xebnok belt. If the debuff on ice spears is so important that we've been dropping it on mobs as a primary and asap spell for years...and it does 1926. A proc that debuffs for 2161 can't be that bad to have. Least on training dummies when that debuff drops on the mob it increases my damage pretty big time. Dunno it doesn't hurt as long as you can cap on base damage by other means. Of course its also only thing i have to use so I wouldn't know about how good anashti is =(

I rarely use our debuff, let others debuff the mob, we are there to dps ;)
