Rays of D getting changed

Hey all I am guessing that most of you saw this update already but incase you havn't i just read a post that Rays is gonna get changed. Apparently based on feed back from FF and other sources the devs realized that most wizards don't use it bc of the interrupt on the group, so in effect they are gonna make it another DD heat spell for us that will have a slightly larger range and can hit for more then it currently does as well as a slightly decreased cast time. If anyone knows when this will go into effect please let us all know. I for one will be happy when it does since i never use that spell.

I do like the change but then the wizards lose their lvl 80 spell. Kinda like SKs and bloodletter and conjys and communion. To me, at it means is that I am losing a spell with a cool effect for another thing that does damage. But thats just me

We're losing a spell, and getting a spell that does more damage, casts faster and has a bigger hit. I would say the tradeoff is in our favor.

the trade off is in everybodies favor unless you're an enchanter. btw i love that they increase the cast time on it after it no longer interrupts others, thats hot lol. btw kooter, ur allowed to come back now and be in my grp now that i wont have to /afk and af you when u cast rays <3

I didn't even assume we'd get a new spell. Just thought they'd make Ray singular instead of plural. :O

ps. Yeah pyro but you were fun to hit rays on. I remember the first raid with it back in Thuuga everybody knew when I hit rays. It's just quiet and you go on vent "fucking god dammit dakkota." I will miss making you rage at my will.
