I've always wondered, if I use Fusion on 3 mobs and if it double attacks, will it always double attack on all 3 or is there a chance that only some of the 3 will double attack and the rest single attack? e.g. 1/3 will double attack and the other 2 will single attack? Just curious.

The chance to dbl attack is on a per spell basis. So it'll check for a dbl attack before the cast is finished, meaning all targets will get double attacked. There is no chance for a 1/3 double attack.

If Fission double-attacks there is a chance that it will hit more than 3 mobs too, under the correct circumstances.

Only seen it happen once but here's how:
Was killing grays for a quest and had gathered up a bunch (8 or so)... Used Fission, which double-attacked. 6 mobs died.

Now, it might have been either a) simply because it killed the first 3 outright and the second hit acquired new targets or b) because all the mobs were the same name (think I was in SoS at the time killing scaleborn warriors or some such).

Nah he's right ! It's litterally the same as super quick second casted fusion. Now to do that with Firestorm and try to get 16 targets =p

Preparation on Ring of Readiness was originally a buff that gave you 100% spell double attack for 1 spell. It was changed in beta and i was told by a dev that spell DA was something that would remain only on the wizard epic.
