The roots are crap in pvp, the ae snare is pretty crap too. If you want to keep someone away from you at high levels its all about ice shape/frigid gift and tempest/thunderclap/bewilderment/flames of velious.

No, wizzies come out of invis and resist, resist, resist, resist while the scouts melee just cut through me like butter. I mean if our spells landed on other classes, like melee hits mages. But you can be as skilled as you want and SoE will waste your time with resists. The whole concept of the button actually doing what its suppose to do is a pretty wild concept. As I said, if I ever were playing Quake 3 and one of my rockets got resisted, there would be hell to raise cause its bullshit.

EDIT: OH, someone post a link to a vid with someone dripping fission on a raid. Hell it can be a few links. I like watching high end wiz pvp fights.

Bah, that was weak cigam. Dropping a double fission on anything sub 80 is always funny and major overkill.

On my wizard a couple days ago on the way to a pr money run i dropped a double fission on a lvl 79 necro inside seb for double crits totalling over 38k damage.

It always seems sub 80s just get ripped apart by it but once they ding 80 more often then not it only hits for 6-8k max per.

Although, recently outside the lp shard building with a group i did melt a group of your guildies with a double fission also. killed everyone but carnes and vekk

Your dps dropped to crap not having auto attack on so your character faced target as he ran.

Best part is if fusion doubles and the targets are all 1 shotted the double actually can cause you to 1 shot up to 6 targets.
