Think the most people I've seen die to a double fission was 5, never seen the myhtical 6, in PvP anyways. Had a wizard in group one time fighting a big mass of people and it seemed like everytime he fusioned at least 4 people would die, if not 5. But this was a while back in RoK before crit mit and all that stuff.

im a mostly solo pvp wizard (HA) and i have about 36 AA at level 23. Right now im specced

for manashield and freehand sorcery

at lower levels what do you think would be more important for me as I get more AA?. Should i stay with freehand sorcery, respec and go down STR for the crit, or go down AGI for the cast speed? and In which order?

im not convinced that enhance: magi shield is worth it because it regenerates too slow and by the time it does im dead.

I play on nagafen myself....I was rolling with a few different specs...

my favorit pve/pvp/non raid spec which is pretty cool for tanking:

stamina 44882
dexterity 44682
wis 487 (yes i dissed base dmg-omg!)

Fire-all the way to fireshape
Ice- all the way to iceshape
armor, and ur choice of glacial armor or cease - spell reach

shadows:
mount/power
root!!!/runic protection/bewildermint
ice comet/crit master/sorcerer's shielding/thunderclap
battle hardened/warm blooded/fusion/tempest/ endlines

what the spec does well-
**excels at root and nuking (5 in root, great tempest knockdowns, strong ice comets and fast balls of fire)
**takes hits like a champ. with 2 good healers u can go tank a zone!
**frigid gift / thunderclap/bewildermint are nice for pvp
** dex endline gives 12% recast on evac
**I opt for max freehand over brainstorm because when i root and nuke i don't dot(except storming tempest)..i just hit with big strikes no ice spears to keep the root/nuke safe.
**fireshape/forge/surge ae's give nice encounter dps. When alternated with frigid gift a precast is always available to help me play "warlock" in the absence of one.
