Currently im working on getting my t3 pieces of the tso gear. after getting a couple pieces i started to wonder if it was worth breaking the t2 set bonuses by wearing pieces of the t3 as i get them, or waiting until i have enough for the t3 bonuses. should i wait to start wearing my t3 until i had 5 for the +5 base damage set? right now i have full t2, myth, 182 aa, and also have the patterns for t3 gloves, boots, hat, and chest. im afraid to break up my t2 5 piece bonus set of the +4 base. so i guess my question is, should i wait till i have one more t3 pattern or start wearing all my t3 now?

Why don't you get a bunch of training dummies and see which does more DPS?

EDIT: Normally, if I get new gear, I put it on and jump around the guild hall a bit, see how it fits. If it 'feels' right, I put it in my gear macro.

that is what i usually do, but to get the t3 i have to turn in the patterns with my t2 pieces, so if my dps dropped i would have to get the t2 pieces again i might end up doing that still, but was hoping someone on here had already gone through it

The t3 is quite an upgrade from the t2. Thats why it is t3. Thus I'd wear any t3 over t2. You may lose a few bounes or what not. But in reality you'll get other ones soon enough once you get a few more patterns.

i ended up switching to the t3. i didnt see a substatial loss on the upgrade

i have the chest, head, gloves, and feet of t3

Kind of the same vein question here.

My wizard has the x4 set bracers/boots. rest is t2 shard armor.

I have all of the t3 shard patterns plus bracers except the legs and sleeves. And i do not see getting the t3 sleeves anytime soon since the pvp server im on is dead and there just arent enough quality people to kill aiden on the q side currently.

So, in people opinions here would it be best to break the 5 set spell base bonus to upgrade 4 t2 to t3, get the t3 5 set bonus by breaking the x4 2 set bonus. or just keep wearing what i am now and ignore the t3.

Im guessing it is just best to ignore the t3 for now but i really havent done the math to see what is really the best setup.

Why in the hell would you want the T3 bracers if you have the T4?

I only have them so theyd be out of the smartloot table, I was only wiz/lock on that x2 run.

Keep the 2 x4 pieces you have, they will give you more stats than the T2 or T3 would. Plus both pieces have 2 base dmg which adds to 4 base damage which is the same as the T2 5 set piece bonus.

I would upgrade everything else you have though. T3 stats > T2 stats.
