Had phoenixblade and malignant grasp on tonight, one procced (phoenixblade) the other didn't over the course of a few small zones.

It will take some more testing to see if the double phoenixblade stacks. My belief is that they do not. If they do, it's exploiting game mechanics and most likely unintended (e.g. 2 arias stacking would be stupidly broken).

I'm pretty sure double Phoenixblade does not proc, but it really doesn't matter, because due to the fact that it is a dot, it will almost for sure refresh before the last dot is done ticking.

grasp proced 4 times phoenixblade 362 times so wizzy cancels out the warlocks now just need to test again to see which gives over all best dps...if i remember right grasp is a straight hit where as phoenixblade is a dot

dont have the exact numbers in front of me but grasp is a dot as well and it hits for like 3-3.5 times harder so if you have a warlock in your group phoenixblade is stealing dps from your friendly troub

Malignant grasp does 1.5 the damage of phoenix blade for me in the same period of time. I use 4 sec delay weapons so the difference in proc rates is almost nothing. Perhaps with faster weapons phoenix blade would be better but i doubt it. I dont know where this stacking issue came from but its new and it sucks. Ive been the nerd herd troub since t6. I Always make sure i get all the procs . Ember seed seems to be stacking just fine with both but phoenix blade overrides malignant grasp no matter which is cast first.

i tested this in aug of last year and thats about the time i stopped using because we found they dont stack, ember seed will however because its a conj proc. without the numbers right in front of me i think phoenix is 71-98 per tick where as grasp is 240ish-280ish per tick. i cant recall the proc rate per minute or the number of ticks for each but thats where i came up with the genaric 3-3.5 times more damage out of grasp
