I definately agree that you shouldn't wait till dispatch if they aren't going to throw down until 20 % left. And as any dps class you need to ride the line as much as possible to maximize dps. In my opinion it is a bit harder to find that area as a wizard. Then again im needing some gear and only about 1/3 adorned.

So , thanks for the help, people that posted thoughts... I started parsing around 16-1800 consistently spiking up to 2400 at times which rocks, nice start... anyway thanks

I dunno really but you might also be able to get more DPS running the agi line instead of str.

Running 44681 Agi iirc pwns quite hard. then going 47481 wisdom.

It works really well for me I must say I think you should try it out

I gave agi another chance and my zonewides have gone up to the 2400 range. with select fights over 3K dps .


just unload it all fast and early.



Catalysts' pimp hand is still strong IMO, but AGI seems to be laying the smack down like a pimp cane to a ho's forehead.

i feel that agi line is very good...depending on gear, raid set up and buffs. we are set up for melee dps so the iilusionsit is in the scout group means less regen all i get is a troub. bad luck on my part i dont have any class gear with higher int and power, though i do raid with 800ish int and 8.4k power. i dont get vim often because my base stats are better than the conj, warlock, or necro in my group. in longer fights i work hard to keep my power and a playable lvl that means i lose some dps switching out clickable power gear and xfering health to power. so for the time being, till i get some better eof gear i'll stay str line. could i parse better yes, but that all being said i'm still the highest mage on the zone wide parses at the end of the night

So I went agi and its looking nice , will see when i raid tonight, but last nigth our illusionist put time compression on me, and my casting speed stayed at 14%, im not sure whether my UI is bugged or not, but is this not working?

Time Compression only increases with respect to Spells. That is why it doesn't display on your UI, since it is only showing the "all" casting speed, and not the specific Spells casting speed.

Sac, what zones are you parsing 2400+ zonewide? What is your group setup and what gear are you using?
