That's my profile , and I'm pretty sure I don't have my AA's blocked.

My main concern and reason for posting this is to better my dps by any means, as any Wizard in their right mind would of course. Let me start out by saying that I parse around 1300 - 1500 regularly and spiking of up to 1900-2000 dps . Which I would imagine most of you are parsing around 2000 + regularly.

Gear
My gear consists of all al kabor legendary with the exception of having the lunarspun cap and gloves, and the claymore pantaloons. I'm using the Wand of crystallized plasma with a novum tectum. Also Sol ro cloak until i get the V'cenzi voluminous cloak

Neck- MOA
Ear 1/2-Kaladim Amethyst / Mana Commandent Hoop
Ring 1/2-Signet from OOB / Plumtuckets from claymore
Wrist 1/2-Forgotten Periapt from LOA and the Hollowcell from the somborn quest

Going to admit that I'm a noob wizard right now. My main is a Guardian and i have recently taken up the fun class that is wizardry again.

my spell order usually goes as follows--

Iceshield , surging tempest, forge of ro, firestorm, ball of lava, incapacitate , then a macro of FHS / catalyst with ice nova ( or fusion depending) then fiery convulsion , irradiate, and back to the cycle of BoL and incapacitate, and so on.
- that would be for trash mobs where i wouldn't get owned on an aoe.

On boss mobs

Ice shield , surging tempest, BoL , incapacitate , then Ice nova (FHS + catalyst) then when an aoe is clear i go in , forge of ro, firestorm, and back to my cycle


my spells are all at least adept 3 quality. Fusion, Ice nova, ball of lava, fiery convulsions , fire storm, rending icicles, irradiate, phoenix blade, voice of the tyrant, fortify elements, frigid gift, all being master 1. Ice shield as my m2 choice

I do agree that gear is needing quite an upgrade, but i also admit my skill as a wizard suffers a bit from being an alt, and with time maybe this will get better.

No Mystical Orb of the Invoker? No Gown of Glory? Those are your 2 biggest gaps.

Easy to acquire gear, you can get better gloves out of Xux'aliou's Roost(Mystical Dawn Mits), same with Cuffs, and Shoulders. Your gear is lacking on Power Regen, so FT is somewhat worth it for you. Also Maestro(x2 in Castle Mistmoore 16-20 hour respawn) drops a nice 2% crit earring you can get to wear over the mana commandment hoop. Also get the Necromantic Orb of the Death Revealer off the x2 in Forsaken City.

Those are the biggest gaps in your gear, also do you usually get a Troubador? Do you get Time Compression? Do you raid with a Brigand?

Ok, I do actually have Gown of glory and i'll buy the mystical orb collection today. I was wearing the al kabors over it for the crit, but if i have no power then ya i can't crit lol. We do have a trouby in group and sometimes an illusionist, when he isn't buffing the melee. And we always have a brigand on the raid

- I do wait for the dispatch calls to fire off my ice nova / fusion with the FHS / catalyst

so the more fusionsi can get off then > dispatch. I never thought about it that way, I always figured when dispatch was up it would raise my dps considerably. But then again constant maintained dps could be a better idea then that once in awhile burst.

Don't forget the Bone-Clasped Girdle! Also I'd try to get the Necromantic Orb of the Death Reveler out of the x2 in Forsaken City (kinda rare drop but the mob is 2 hours tops on respawn, I think it is more like 30 minutes to an hour).

well, for example you have 1 brigand in raid. your guild is chain pulling trash mobs,and it happens that on pull brigand dispatch is not up and your IN or fusion or both are up. So are you going wait and not use these spells till the dispatch is on (which might happens in 10-20-30 seconds - you never know unless you spam your brig with this question non stop) or em on pull and hit IN once more in the end of the fight (depends on mob)? If u're waiting for dispatch - u just holding your dps.

never leave anything in your bag go through your normal spell progression, unless the script of the mob wont let you. hell i've hit fusion for 36k in a pickup group with no brigand. if your tank can hold it use it
