It is a good robe and it does add just slightly more than 2K to comet guys. Just a lil bit...

but a robe with passive +5 crit bonus when you crit all the time will pull ahead of it easily.

I dunno bout the varsoon robe, cant think of it off the top of my head, but the set one blows SoH away, thats for sure.

I remember this discussion already has been done in this forum some months ago, with conclusion that +5 crit bonus is much better than +2K on one spell ¨when almost 100%critting.

Yea. On the assumption that anyone with access to the higher robes are able to max their crits the bonus is win.
Ofc if you haven't got max crits go for the one with the biggest gain, Hoshkar or something.
As soon as you have 95-100+ crit rating you should be looking for other stuff, as with troub & pots etc you'll be happily over the cap for them level 88 mobs.
