Portal Spell guide needed please.

Hello there, I am new to the game and by that new to these forums.

I at this point a lvl 38 DE wiz but that should change hehe - however I have been trying to make my portal spells and at eq2.wikia.com its explained like this:

"Commonlands Portal"

To learn the spell, click on a rune at Ulteran Spires in The Commonlands ( -12.34, -46.79, -417.47 ) and then talk to any Teleport Trainer in a city.

I am not sure what kind of rune is mentioned here - I have tried other spires in other zones as well in vain. I have asked Wizards online for help but noone seems to know/remember how they did the spells. I have hailed the Teleport Trainers in every city im not KOS in.

There was this one wizard online who told me that I should click some scrolls on the ground next to the spire however these scrolls are not clickable for me. Do I need a quest? If so where do I get it please?

I would be most gratefull if anyone yield any information on this as me and my friends are so very tired of walking around

That info is outdated ... you don't need to do all the quests from each spire anymore.

All the sorcerer portal spells were combined into a single spell with GU53, which you can simply buy from the class trainer of your choice (or was it teleport trainer? Just check it).

No need to do anything else but that anymore. Except keep a supply of planar symbols, of course.

This has been changed ! now you buy a spell that works just like the druid one, but need a reageant to b e cast.

You buy the spell from your local Teleport Trainer for 18g. They also sells the Planar Symbols needed to cast the portal each time.

I will check this when I get home from work - is the scroll called something like "Translocation" or similar? I am almost certain I saw that at a teleport trainer in his sell window. The same place I bought 2 stacks of planar symbols.

Well lets face it, getting a fellow wizard to open up several ports so that you can click it and run 5 feet away on several locations is nothing short of HARD MODE.
