Daray, why set gloves/slippers of al'kabor instead of gloves of sagacity/set boots? Surely the crit % doesn't even touch the damage of Harrowing Strike?

Well from my estimates, the 2% crit chance came close enough to the damage from harrowing strike for me to look beyond just the damage components and at the items as a whole. This was worked out without taking into account templar, warlock or other proc modifiers though, so with that in mind you probably would see a larger gap when grouped with either of those classes - which would probably give the gloves of sagacity the edge as was stated by several people here. In the end it will probably come down to which of the items i get first.
