A ring would be great, because I think it is going to be mildly frustrating when I have to replace my staff of light with some easy as fuck questlines reward. And since EoF didn't see any rings, I'd love to see one for our Epic.

Weapons are gay, since it is a weapon it better be a one hander.

In the announcement they also said they are going to look at weapon requirements for AAs, IE, remove them.

Personally i hope its an absolute kick arse 2 handed staff, wizards should always have a staff...

Weapon requirements as in things that require a specific type of weapon (like dagger or sword). I highly doubt that our wisdom line loses the requirement for an empty secondary unless the line gets nerfed to shit.

I highly doubt they would remove item restrictions on every other line, but leave the sorcerer wisdom line as is.

That may mean it gets nerfed, but if they are looking at every single AA, as they claim, I would think that since every sorcerer has gone down this line, it is due for some 'tweaking'. As they say, if everyone has it, it must be too good.

Then again, this is Sony... who knows what they'll do.

Weapon type is different than wield style. I would be willing to bet that we'll still need our off-hands empty.

What weapon type means when they say they're looking into it is all the rougue/warrior/crusader/melee in general that require "sword, "rapier," or "axe" in their primary hand to use.

yea hehe you dont know how many times i have bent myself over doing favors and farming every time a shadow axe popped onto the broker trying too get it too use with swiftaxe on my paladin. currently using vilucidae's sword. would much rather use the sword over the axe from a tanking standpoint with swiftaxe, but it is too much hassle too swap in an axe just for swiftaxe so i can get the sword swinging faster. i think if they ever do change this my AP might be in for a respec depending on how everything changes.

as for the wizards, they better not nerf the freehand line so that you can use something in offhand (necro orb, BoBW, CMayong orb, ect) but end up with the overall dps outcome being lower. i was planning on relying heavily on this line in conjunction with the str line for soloing on my wizard in tough situations so i can just flat take out a tough target in 1 go. you dont know how many people will bitch if they change it
