Exactly how powerful is Frigid Gift 5 + Iceshape?
I'd like everyone possible with access to a parse to paste damage values of a single Frigid Gift AA5 + Iceshape raid invocation in your group. I'm at work atm so I can't do it for myself just yet. Please format it like this (player names not necessary):
Class1: dmg
Class2: dmg
Class3: dmg
Class4: dmg
Class5: dmg
Class6: dmg
Total: dmg
I'm more interested in demonstrating what this spell pair can do, and less in critiquing people who didn't spam fast-casts in one instance or the other.
People need to know why you're considered a retard (i.e. bad wizard) if you don't cast this spell pair regularly.

Basically Frigid Gift AA5 + Iceshape is like an Ice Nova or Fusion crit, except it gets credited to your group and not yourself.

It doesn't hurt the Ranger doing 3K+, it won't hurt us in the least. He's got a built-in 40% de-hate, but he's not grouped with the troub that is giving me the 40% de-hate.

Yes it does. It procs 100% of the time as long as you don't cast a Heat-based spell without Iceshape up.

- Cast Iceshape
- Cast Frigid Gift
- Cast Ball of Lava
#1 YOUR Ball of Lava hits a darkclaw crab for 3672 cold damage.
#2 YOUR Ball of Lava hits a darkclaw crab for 3467 cold damage. YOUR Ice Lash hits a darkclaw crab for 294 cold damage.
#3 YOUR Ball of Lava critically hits a darkclaw crab for 4030 cold damage.
#3a YOUR Sunstrike hits a darkclaw crab for 1065 cold damage.
#4 YOUR Ball of Lava critically hits a darkclaw crab for 4030 cold damage.
Note:
I've confirmed, visually, these buffs are both up. So it seems from 5 casts, Ice Lash proc'd once?
