They probably make an exception for "ass" because it's found in too many legitimate words... including "assassin." Automatically blocking it would cause more issues than letting a few stupid people try to get away with stuff like <Elfs Kick Ass>.

Somehow Illkickyourass is still listed on Players (though, hasn't logged in in a while) but his guild has been changed to <Elves Clip Grass>. You really gotta wonder what goes through the heads of GMs sometimes.
