Not sure my opinion is worth much since i do not know many of the people on antonia bayle, and more specifically the people in eidolon, but I think that penuba is right in what he said about the competiton of contested mobs.. in our case, both Eidolon and TBA are doing their best in camping, getting people on, finding out strats, and killing the mobs. Yes, u guys have killed more avatars then we have, it is apparent in the gear u guys have, oh and everytime we see you at a contested you guys mention the 4x-2 avatar kills.. the 13 or w/e to 0 mayong kills.. you guys make that the last names of you're characters, talk in 60-69 chat about how you guys are better then we are, hell, how you guys are better then the whole server. I came from permafrost, where defiance is cleaning up the whole server.. I didnt like them very much becasue they acted the exact same way you guys do, however, they actually have everything on lock down. They are the only guild to have killed an avatar, only guild to have kill matron or phh, and only guild on the server to have killed the new TTR and contested mayong. Every time a contested spawns, we become closer and closer to closing the gap between Eidolon and TBA.

Sure on contested mob pulls, we have on occasion shot of fireworks, casted buffs and called up pets. However on the Avatar of War pulling spree, we did not do any of those things, with the exception of 1 person shooting off 1 firework.

I do think that is what makes contest mobs the best part of eq2 though. Doing whatever u can, ie. praying, getting out the voodoo dolls, cursing over TS, casting buffs, doing whatever u can to get the other guild to die on their pull. Sometimes it is a bit excessive especially on Avatar pulls because of the amount of people in zone.
I also doubt that from here on out we will intentionally cast buffs and fireworks to lag out the zone.

I do think however we deserve to pat ourselves on the back, just as you all have done. We killed one of the hardest mobs in the game. It may be only our second avatar, but we are getting there. You guys do deserve a lot of credit, you all have had all the avatars on lock, but we will be challenging you guys ever avatar fight, so best bring the A game ya dig?
