And in regards to the earring that drops from Woushi, it didn't just have deflection, but also had a DPS modifier on it. In fact it's a damn good earring. True it's good for a brawler, but it also is good for a scout. In the past we have bid things that have good skills that multiple classes need, and bid it out to multiple classes. We try to remain consistent on that. If the earring ONLY had deflection, then it woudl have been different, but being that it had Deflection AND DPS modifier, that made it a good item for more than JUST brawlers. BTW there was only 1 brawler in raid so he woudl have gotten it for minimum, which is slightly unfair when other classes wanted it.

This same exact thing happened for all the times weve had the Crit robe drop from avatars. It has deflection, but also has a crit proc. Those robes were bid to scouts AND brawlers. And Kal, you yourself said that you wanted to bid on the reinforced slippers of Balance, (leather tanking boots). Granted they don't have deflection, but it is still a similar situation. Best item in game for brawler, but also very good for other classes. Were just trying to remain consistent with policy.
Many of these policies were stablished before you returned from Vanguard. That is mostly where the problem lied. You came back with the best of intentions, but I think you did clash a bit with the current establishment. I noticed it a few times, but didn't feel it was that big of an issue.

I feel maybe the whole situation coudl have been resolved differently however. I always feel that Open, honest communication is the best way to resolve conflict. Anyways I miss ya bro. Hope life is treating you well!

I shoudl honestly just let this go becuase I dont know enough about it to truly argue given the fact that I cant give examples and havent sat down and look at what is dropping where.... but this bullshit used to come up all the time... so just in case its the same bs let me ask a few questions about the earring... by now everyone knows who is dropping what in the expansion and EL is consistently killing EVERYTHING right? Here is something to think about...

Is this the best earring for scouts in the game? If so then yeah by all means they need to bid... Is it the best earring in the game that you can obtain becuase you cant kill the thing that drops the best scout earring in the game?? If so then again fair enough... If not.. then wtf scout fucktards let the brawlers that get the most out of it bid first so when the best scout earring drops the scouts can save up there dkp to get it no?? In the end this kind of thinking SHOULD make you stronger. Im also assuming this was why Kalidon said what he said in regards to letting only brawlers bid on it.

I do remember you saying that, but my point is simply that many items are good for multiple classes, specificaly brawler items that SoE decided to make open for multiple classes. For the really good items it's just not fair for a brawler to get it for minimum, and the next time it drops the scouts have to bid like crazy against each other for it.

And I urge you to reconsider your choice about re-joining. I know your angry now, but shit like that fades in time. Never say Never.

I'm not sure, but the DPS modifier on it is 10, which is the highest DPS I've seen on an earring. I think it is ONE of the best scout earrings, if not THE best. And frankly, if it wasn't, a scout wouldn't be bidding it up. Not for too much anyhow. It's ok to bid something up to a FAIR price above minimum, and generally thats how things roll in EL.

Maybe the problem is most of you don't know who Morphias was because you weren't around when he was. He was one of the funniest, sweetest, most loyal guys that ever played the game. His laugh in vent was so contagious and could quickly break any tension during a hard night of raiding. He was a strong leader who always had time to listen to any members concerns or questions. He never missed a raid - that's why we were worried when suddenly he didn't log on for two days.

Sadly, Morphias had suddenly passed away leaving his wife and two teenage daughters. He was only in his late 30's. The guild came together and made a donation to the family in memory of him.

As a token of their gratitude, they gave the guild his account.

To disrespect a grieving families' gift of remembrance of their husband/father to a guild that meant so much to him..... I am just gonna stop there and hope that it was ignorance of who he was and what he meant to EL that caused someone put morphias in that rank.

Sorry Crabbok, it is official. I will never be coming back to EQ2. I am so disgusted with Edob and the whole EL situation I have actually given up on all MMO's period. You guys can all thank Edob for that and hopefully you can learn to watch your ass so you don't get raped by her huge flaming dick like I did. It amazes me that some people are actually sticking around after that shit went down but I guess it's only a matter of time until people realize that there can be hope somewhere else. Just don't let her deceive you like she did me.

Well it's been twice now that he keeps getting these retarded fucking names. Here is a bright idea. DONT HAVE STUPID FUCKING NAMES like that. I don't give a shit if eq2players is bugged or not if the rank names didn't exist then the possibility of him showing up as that name wouldn't exist either. I am willing to accept that it wasn't on purpose because if someone would do that purposely then they should just go kill themself right now. But it still pisses me off. It pisses me off that Ethereal Legacy as he knew it has been crippled over some selfish bullshit and that he isn't hear to speak his mind.

Kal, did you petition to get leadership back to the guild good sir ? I know of previous occasions where leaders or creators of guilds who were undermined have been able to get leadership back.

If you done with EQ i would figure you would rather your guild rot, then be ran by someone you do not support.
