Shit if SK's get any kind of boost in RoK, the SKs that are great now are going to be gods.
We have an SK, Udie, as OT, that fucker can hold agro as well as any guard I've seen. And can out parse pure dps toons. He is a freak. Maybe thats the problem, he is one of a few SK's who can get the most out of the current SK class.
But just cuz, you aren't maximizing the class's potential doesn't mean the class needs a fix.

Re: Voracity Leadership
Pretty sure that most of the time im pulling the class to its max, and it does need a fix according to 80% of the population, thats the problem... Ya Udie is a kick ass SK, but there are only a handful of us doing it. It takes an extremely good player to make a crusader class go to 100% potential, unlike a bard who can almost afk and af on a raid and not be noticed (generalization, i realize there are kick ass bards, just using the class for an example), aswell as there are better choises as a raid leader would pick for an off tank, or a dps class. Hybrids are a jack of all trades and masters of none, unless extremely well played, which is the reason i think most people keep them out of raids. If you want more info on it just check out the sk boards, this shit is all over it.

Re: Voracity Leadership
Holy fuck, you gotta call your guild leader is your not gonna make it on the game? Jesus almost sounds like a corporate job.
"Hello there...I just wanted to let you know that I won't be able to make it to wor..err the game today because I feel sick. I have enough sick time to cover this ok..thank you"
I see it as your better off...Computers go down...it happens...but if a guild boots you for it cause you don't call or text them..yeesh issues...I think a simple forum topic would be good enough.

Re: Voracity Leadership
Sk's need the ability to become good at one thing more so than they can now. At last fix we got alot of tools to help us and a great player can make it seem easy. To most though the sk class is seriously broken I would like to see another aa tree left which would let us go one single direction instead of buffing alot of things go more single mindedly towards ot, mt, dps and still not be overpowered. Id say we need at most a 20-25% buff but then as some pointed out the class will be for the most part greatly overpowered by the players who already have learned to use the tools provided.
Part of me thinks the dev's made this class this way on purpose although Ive been playing basicly since release the sk was not always in the same position that it is. So either by luck or by foresight we ended up where we are.
I highly doubt we get any loving although Id like to see mana sieve upgraded and our ward counting on parses as well as our o/d stance looking more like a warriors.
Besides the usual wants of spell upgrades that make sense and some better itemization thats not fabled I think we are for the most part as close to balanced as we will ever get.

Re: Voracity Leadership
As someone who played an SK for two years in EQ2 in the days post Kunark, I can tell you that SKs have always been one of SOE's redheaded stepchild classes when it comes to raiding. Not sure if the issue in EQ1 has been rectified somewhat since then, but somehow I doubt it.
To Lopann, I say fuck 'em. If that's the way they're going to be, you're better off without them. It's a fucking GAME. A game people play to have fun, not be some damn second job with much lower pay where you have to put up with shit and be on call 24-7. What next? They going to start making people wear radio ankle bracelets and carry around a BlackBerry? Good luck finding a guild that works out for you.

Re: Voracity Leadership
I just love it when Guild Leaders get their knickers in a twist over stuff like that.
FFS Lopann, how DARE you have a computer that breaks down! How the fucking hell do you have the brass neck to be so cheeky as to try and log into vent after an absence as long as 2 weeks, ZOMG!! how can you live with yourself?? eh? Not chasing the guild leaders down to get the message to them loud and clear..You should have gone that extra mile to notify them! you should have contacted the Police and sent a message...they surely would have delivered it coz it's So SO fucking important. Damn you for not staying awake 24/7 trying to find them in person so you can turn up at their doorstep and grovel for forgiveness and vent time! Fuck you for not rallying the rest of the town where you live to lay in the streets in the shape of 'SOS' as a message to send to the high tech Guild satelite that your computer was in trouble. Why the fuck didn't you have the foresight to travel back in time to buy a new computer so this wouldn't happen?? Damn you to eternity for being a regular person with regular probelms...YOU SHOULD BE A FUCKING GAMING GOD LIKE SALAD AND THE OTHERS INVOLVED!!!
p.s Salad..yes..that's called sarcasm. Jerk off.
What's that you say? none of my business, not on my server...oh yeah damn me too for trying to stick up for the underdog who gets fucked by the power crazy. Fuck off ye big bully.

I now think you are retarded because you obviously dont know how a raid guild that requires raid attendance operates. Computer problems or not, my guess is the leadership wasnt happy with him to begin with then he disappeared which this was the result. As for being the underdog, good fucking game, player > class
