ill give you the scoop. Quenthal had been free riding this guild for about 9 months. She is a good player when she tries to be, but i dont know what her problem is whether its not paying attention or what, but consistenly does less than what is required of her.
Falcogen has worked with her and worked with her and worked with her. She either wouldnt listen or didnt understand. She literally had every choice of gear in the game and has been by far the best geared wizard almost the entire expansion, but still came up ridculouly short.
I can take most of the responsibility b/c i had been the most vocal with her. It started as polite words of encouragement and advice. After a couple months it turned into bickering and harsh words. And for the past 6 months she has kinda been our black sheep in the closet doing just well enough for us not to boot her. I mean after all she is geared the fuck out and we always hoped that with all that avatar gear she would wake up one day and say...I wanna be a badass.
It culminated in vent where I fucking blew up on her as well as Falco and when she pleaded to the peanut gallery she was given no sympathy. She then finally decided to quit after was told that it was almost certain she would be booted within the next week.
Eilella left under the pretense she didnt like Kits our new warden. Fuck that are u kidding me? You are leaving b/c you have competition? She flipped out b/c her friend left and b/c Kits was telling her basic strategies such as use your ward on wuoshi and dont AE avoid paralysis b/c its joustable and avoid blanket instead. These are pretty good tidbits of advice and any good guild member would give constructve criticism in this manner.
I don't know why Avirodar left for sure. He's a solid player and can only speak for himself. I can only assume since he was friends with them he felt maybe he should just go and be with them which imo is understandable. I did the same when coming to Disso. I am RL friends with Heisenberg who was the MT at the time and that was a huge reason I left my previous guild. I just hope he is happy with the decision he has made.
I have never b4 seen this kind of inguild drama even when it only boils down to three people. Its just mind blowing to me how a couple members of a top guild could not see this weakness and how the propper steps were taken to thin the herd of disease.
These disso breaking up threads seem to come every so often and before the launch of new expansions even harder.
We have already gotten a new wizard, who is doing better than Quenthal with worse gear as well as a new warden who is doing better than Eil ever did. At this point the only classes we are recruiting that will bring value to our raid would be an Inquisitor which we had just lost and a Templar b/c Oopo has had to focus his attention on his last semester of school and no longer raids regularly. So if you are a good templar or inquistor theres your chance.
As far as quenthal's skill is concerned you can see the problem at our website where we had posted a mayong parse about 3 weeks ago. Its pretty fucking apparent and people already eluded to the fact from other guilds why she had done so poorly. The answer is she sucks. She is terrible at understanding how to dps as well as general movement, positioning or even critical thinknig skills.
