fyi most guilds don't form up for contesteds so that wouldn't ever be an issue. This guild in particular don't kill any contesteds....except maybe a cube mob or less than t7 stuff that nobody would care about anyway.

Works for contested and expansion time where beta people know the best places to go, but in general that would only include maybe 1-3 guilds a server.

My 2 cents - The guild leader listened to your opinion and explained to you what his policy was and issued you a direct order. After publicly explaining this order in guild chat you had 51 seconds to type /anon to toggle your anon status off, and you didn't do it. Maybe your guild works a little differently than my guild..idk... But, IMO, the boot was justified for blatant disrespect.

Do I think it's retarded as fuck to require anon off/on? Yes. Do I think it's retarded as fuck to keep someone in your raid healing for you after you've booted them from your guild (basically using them). Yes.

Maybe you are better off finding a guild without a leadership that enforces retarded rules, but while you're in their guild, IMO you should be following the rules.

Pretty much - you're better off without them.

dude you should have told your guild misleader that having anon up limits the number of plat tells you get (it does, doesnt get rid of em but it does) and by being required to take it down means forcing yourself to be exposed to unnessecary harassment. i have met fuckups like this in the past and pulled something like that up, or just out of my ass, and it shut them up right fast. also, he is a fucktard for thinking that anon hides guild tags, when it doesnt....... hiding your guild tag is something i think you can toggle on or off in options, or something like that. i dont remember the details but you get the point

That's really retarded it should be up to you what you want to be.

I mean if you are a well needed toon like a Troubbie..geting ninja invites to raids/groups/guilds pisses you off...and i tend to go "anon" on my Troubbie alot....

But being kicked from it...and you raise a good point about the guild capes...we all get to recognise other guilds cloaks, so if they don't want you in anon and you have "mouse over names" you can't see anything anways, just their cloaks so they are just being dumb..say one thing but don't do another...
