But to give credit, I can see why you wonder,given that even I considered qualifying the statement about DH not selling no-drop. But felt I was being too wordy as it is and opted not to say that for a short time long ago we did.

But to your point. Yes DH for a while said,"Dissolution is making lots of money selling the trash no-drop fables, EL is doing it, why don't we". Personally I wasn't gung ho on it, and we stoppped doing it because it's a PIA, slows down the raid, and we are the number one or one of the top WW guilds already in plat.

Most of us raid for fun, not plat, imho in the DH guild.

So, what I said is technically true and not a lie. I don't always go into a long guild history to qualify words. So we don't sell our No-drops, and I sure stand by that. What I didn't elaborate on is that the guild for a very short time did and stopped. What I said about what I think about selling no-drop is also true whether we do or don't sell them, since my opinion is not necessarily my guild's opinion.

Daniya was honestly trying to say that I might have missed that short time(but I didn't), because Daniya knows I just don't purposely lie.

But Maria, you focus on the gnat and miss the elephant. You know why SOE made the loot no-drop? So that people who had the loot had earned it by being in the raid that killed the mob. So that when you see the "Uber no-drop item" on someone, you don't just think, "I wonder how much plat they paid for it". But humans are smart and find ways around the developer's intent. Selling no-drop is not against game rules, just against game spirit imho.

That harder content should be fought and won with toons primarily geared through the players participation in-game, and not because they bought plat off of IGE.

i've been playing this game since eq1, it's not a new thing to sell no-drop loot, nor when i see it i wonder how much they paid for it, but especially on SE servers when you see a lot of people running around, you wonder, hrm wonder how much they paid for that toon in general?
don't get me wrong, im preaching to the perverted here, and i sing the same tune as a lot of you, i sold my defiler for 1200 back in the day, and dont regret it one bit, cos that farmer smooth made some decent cash off it, i just wish the SE servers were never created cos honestly the greed factor of these servers is fucking rediculous.

in my current state of mind i'd rather jack off with sandpaper while banging my mother with razor blades then play on another se server again.
