Your Server Sucks - The Bazaar and Shadowhaven

Why does the The Bazaar and Shadowhaven Server Suck? Why will they never be respected as a real server?

1) Because the server is home EL; exploit away EL, don't worry, you'll buy a new account if yours get banned.

2) Because it is the land mark server of the founding of the infamous "DEATH COORDINATION" strategy.

3) Because you can always buy plat, masters, and accounts with real money rather than actually earn them.

4) Because EL has tarnished the server's name. The Bazaar server? (First thing to come to mind?) EXPLOIT!

5) Because it is the only server that is free to transfer to, talk about easier cross server recruitment.

6) Because no matter what, if things go bad for your character's reputation, you can sell it and buy a new one with a name change.

7) Because the server violates the whole artifact deal. Thoses artifacts probably increase the value of your character right?

8) Because their raiders don't have to do jack for gear. Just buy, learn how to read your spells, and you have your own raider that you never spent a minute building up to that point.

9) Because raider's account never dies, they just get resold to another user retaining all it's gear. When people quit on other servers, their characters arn't resold back to the server, just to the Bazaar.

10) Because their economy is fucked and shitty.

11) Because it is the only server that i can go make a alt and say, "Hey Magank (or any other former raid tank), oh wait..."

12) Because it's likely that there's probably a heck of a lot of the same item that may be rare on other servers, but of course not to the Bazaar. People don't feel very unique in gear huh?

13) Because ... I dunno ... because Ishbu hates the fucking server.

14) Because the fucking free transfers probably makes it tempting for some people to quit and sell their characters.

15) Because well... because it's the fucking Bazaar server.

i actually played on SE for a long while, and im a canadian so imagine the grief for me, my toon was babied and raised by me and i was geared out thru EL, i saw the ugly and and some ol good times.

my fav strat still was PoSky, cos there was no way EL could beat that fight the way it was intended, so our strat, bring in 12 healers, 3 in each grp, burn 1 dragon and try and heal thru the ae 8| talk bout leet skeet

Did the guy ever just try and beat stuff straight up to start, or did he always look for the workaround strat first instead?

Nope, we have a Dev in our guild. Most don't know who it is, but he tells Kal some exploits that aren't "fixed" yet... That's how we do every mob. Before we had the dev, we wus all... "wut?" Quite pathetic really.

...but having a dev in your guild doesn't mean you will own all the time (read Drow on Unrest having Lock, and not doing crap)

i transfered to bazaar from innothule because me and my best friend wanted a less crowded server where we could level in peace. If i had known at the time that I could not transfer off the server and that my best friend would leave game like 3 months later.... i never would have done it. i have never bought or sold anything on the station exchange and i may be the poorest person on it (i have 4 plat to my name at this very moment and im a 70 mystic in a raiding guild there). it is by far one of the shittiest ideas ever to transfer to a server and not be able to get off. if there was a way to leave completely naked with no money or anything like that i would seriously consider it because Xelus is completely right... this server sucks. The only reason i wouldnt is because of the friends i have made but i have a feeling some of them would move as well...

1) they need to stop Free Transfers all together.

2) implement a 6 month policy After a Character has been a Resident of the bazaar for 6+ months they may transfer off for a Fee.

#1 would stop it from becoming a massive garabage dump for peoples shitty toons and #2 would negate the 'ebayed' on other servers. Because the charcter would either have been leveled and/or geared by the current owner.
Also, well face it you may buy a top of line high quality geared toon on bazaar but in 6months time that gear Will be obselete with the release of new Xpacs, especially xpacs that raise the level cap.

Really is it so hard?

That or option number 3! Bring back shadow Haven so at the very least they can transfer between 2 exchanges. FUCK VOX

I completely disagree with #2, because if the person who buys Skratch waits 6 months then can transfer off, he will still be equipped with damn good gear, because it's more than 6 months until the next expansion after EoF, and even then EoF gear won't completely blow away KoS gear, so there won't be much of a difference between him and an EoF raider I bet, however of course there will be differences in mitigation, avoidance, stats may be 50-80 higher, but that person could take Skratch and do EoF raids on the Bazaar, or buy EoF gear while there with plat bought with real money. Which basically puts it, that it means you bought the character, and can buy the gear, so why let them transfer off?.

I completely agree with #1 however.
