Setting the record straight about the untruths posted about Mayhem. I am proud to share my experiences and opinions about this guild and it's members.

This will be my first post on a forum site like this so I had to register just now to be able to reply.

I joined this guild a couple of months ago. I was pretty nervous because I had not been in a raiding guild before... well the truth be known it is the first guild I ever applied to in EQ2.

A member of Mayhem invited me to join not as a raider but as a friend. I applied and had conversation with several of the officer/advisors about wanting a guild family even though I had no characters at raiding status. Heck, raiding was only a DREAM for me. Everyone in Mayhem welcomed me with open arms. Yes, I am new to EQ2... Only been playing the game about 3 months now.

The first couple of weeks I was with Mayhem I spent my days grouping and visiting with everyone while trying to figure out which character I wanted to play. (See... I made several cause I didn't know which one I would like the best.) I spent my nights on vent listening to them raid. Oh my.... that made me want to be there with them so bad. I finally made a decision and told them to make Skylight my main character and I started concentrating on leveling her with only a small little dream in the back of my head that maybe someday I might be able to be a part of their raiding force. The officers/advisors and members went out of their way to group with me, guide me, and answer the million newbie questions that I threw at them.... It didn't take me long to realize how blessed I was to be a part of Mayhem.
About a month after joining... Bartbe/Rocard and I was having coffee and visiting over vent. We were talking about some of the things that the guild needed and one of them was a Troubador. He offered me the opportunity to create one and raise her quickly to fullfill a need for the guild and to make a DREAM come true for me. Literally within minutes Rapsody was born. Everyone jumped in and offered to help.

Over the next 21 days... I got very little sleep. Raps went from 1 to 70 with 100 AA's. At age 34 days she is nearly fully mastered and already has several pieces of the best Fabled items in the game for her class.

Talk about help and support.... All of Mayhem is the BEST! I am not even going to try to start naming names as I am positive I would leave someone out by accident. But... I will say that NOT ONE PERSON EVER REFUSED TO HELP!

I am a core raider now and having the time of my life... Bart and all the other officers/advisors and members have shown me what having a guild name below my name is all about.

I hope sharing my experience with Mayhem will help dispell all the CRAP that was posted by Tigi.

PS.... Tigi, you will go a lot further in life and be a whole lot happier if you stop with the lies and whining and go find another game to play... We don't need your kind on EQ2 and especially not in Mayhem.

Good people. Really good people. If I wasn't in Eidolon I'd be there. Bartbe is rough around the edges but I think that's just a cultural barrier . Ahnya is sooooo sweet and if she is cybering everyone gdi cause I sure as hell missed out . And then Arrarik... that guy would have some more free time if he could just say no to helping someone.

Mayhem rocks! Sure they have the same issues any growing guild that wants to raid high content has, but great people!

I've known the leadership of Mayhem for a while. They spend more of their personal time helping members than almost any other guild i can think of. They certainly spent more time helping people then i did during my time their. You would be hard pressed to find people that want to have a guild succeed more.

Also , if the OP is Kimmi , then im glad to see Mayhem rid of you. Part of the reason i left Mayhem was to get away from having to deal with you. I am really amazed that they dealt with you for so long. Mayhem had/has some really good people but you really made it pain. Im sure they are already doing better in your absence.

I was not aware this post even existed until I spoke with Silvark on the phone. He at that time advised me not to post. However, I think it is time that I do. I really did, and still do love the people in Mayhem. I would never do anything to hurt anyone, or the guild. Not in the past, not now, and not in the future.
I really can’t believe you would all think this is coming from me.

I meant what I said in my departing statement on the guild website. I have many friends in Mayhem and I hope I still do.
Bart, Ahnya, Arrarik, and Ssiril have always been good to me and I loved raiding with all of you. I learned many things about my classes and I hope to continue this in my future as this game grows.

The guild is a great one and I truly hope this flaming does not in any way hurt the guild now, or in the future.
Trust me; I am not a petty person to do as this person has.

Many people within the guild knew what I have said and the words I used. It would be easy enough for anyone to use the same words. You had 24 people on the raid that could have thought badly about the persistence zone (EH).

I have no quarrels with Bart’s Decision to remove me from the guild. Frankly, I am much happier now. I have gone back to my causal play style and really do enjoy it. I don’t feel like the stress I put myself under to finish something is there.

I will always tell others this is a great guild. I have no reason not to when you as a guild did so much for me. You truly are a great bunch of people and no matter what, I will always think so.

I can only say I am sorry this is happening. Once again I assure you, this is not coming from me. It in no way would justify anything, but obviously someone is not so much out to get me, but out to disrupt the guild and shed doubt amongst it’s people. Keep your chins up guys, this to shall pass.
