I admit I'm the farthest thing from being technically knowledgeable about game mechanics, but I was floored when I saw that, and still laugh about it to this day.

I'll give Avi a character reference if it matters. He was always a helpful guy to me in Disso, him and Oopo both were. So I think he is the kind of guy who is generally helpful to people.

I guess what shocks me about this thread is to see that Quenthal is an officer in a guild.

Avi : while nothing you point out is wrong, per se .. in several spots i don't feel it is a complete portrayal imo ...

Glory of Battle : when asked if you would prefer if i had it on multiple targets within my group, as had been suggested to me by another guild when i raided with them, you agreed ... with GoB being cast on 3 ppl out of Zerk/SK/Bruiser/Assassin i would be worried if it did NOT proc for alarge percentage of my parse. with such a high % of the group heals being dealt with by GoB, i was instructed to concentrate on debuffs and what dps i could manage. admittedly, my dps sucks and i still havent figured out how to improve it as a temp, but i did try to adjust to how i was being asked to play. Rectives wont account for much of my heals if my group is not taking damage

Aegis of Faith : you are right .. didnt know i had it until it was pointed out to me, and i promptly went out to have it made. Not blaming the sage who made my spells, but he did mail me back one moonstone and an apology for missing 1 spell ... Since the first time i had it in my spellbook it was the first or second spell cast every time, depending on whether or not Sanc was available

Sanctuary : never claimed it was an AE avoid ... told you i was trying to use it (prior to respec) to avoid the STATUS effects of AEs to give myself time to get a cure off ... perhaps a miscommunication was there, since i love that spell and always have

KOS AGI line : you got me dead to rights on that one ... completely inexperienced with that one ... for the 2 days i was specced into that line i tried a variety of times to cast it and couldnt seem to get it to work effectively ... for whatever reasons, it didnt seem (to me) to work all the time, and if you recall i bitched a LOT about getting frustrated with my inability to use that well

I wont argue your parse numbers, since i did not sit and analyze parses and break them down, mostly due to the fact that i only started teaching myself how to run a parse on your suggestion, and also didnt use it in every zone due to the extra lag it caused me at times. I dont recall ever seeing 4x my numbers, but i wont go sar far as to say it didnt happen. I generally looked at what position i was on the parse and compared my numbers to the other temp to see if was keeping a relative pace

I also will agree that i do not know what went on behind the scenes and have pointed out twice in previous posts that it was ONE incident i was upset at. You and I both know that when i was an Inq i tried to pattern my playstyle from you, and do think very highly of you as a person. To clarify my initial post : my OPINION of your leadership capabilities stems from the fact that you appear unwilling (?) to be as adamant as i think is necesary to lead a hardcore guild starting from scratch. It definitely leaves an odd impression when the (then) sole leader of a guild publicly defers in things to an officer. I made the statement to friends that in my opinion you were too NICE of a guy to be the sole leader of a hardcore guild. My opinion - sorry if that bothers you ...

As far as Insidious itself goes .... good luck. If you succeed, then all the power to you, and if you fail, thats not my problem either. I gave what I had to give as an app, and felt that i switched my playstyle around to accomodate what i was being asked to do by several people. If that wasn't good enough .. .well, sucks to be me i guess ...
