I'm sorry if you think me making a thread against you getting a free ride to live off Test was "overblown". I think this was a huge mistake. I think this amounts to corruption of the live servers, and is the worst possible precedent and a bad decision.

Doesn't everyone on Test have the right to get copied over now? Why was it just your guild? Do you have any clue how much coin and stuff has been duped by transferring hundreds of past players from Live to Test, and now players from Test back to Live?

I stand by everything I've said in this thread.

Hard to call bullshit, but it's hard to not when it is questionable how accurate your statements are.

While i do agree that multipule players of UT did not have mythical gear..(this statement from LFG was not correct, but saying none has been looted would be inaccurate also). Tho, i can't really say much else in LFG's post is incorrect.. at least from my reading. (i might have missed something)

Also, addressing the statement of "length of time at 70", Saying all of the players copied have been 70 on test since early KoS is also not correct. I remember one specifically that i was also friendly with prior to the UT mergers..that had his named changed at a fairly low level...after EoF released. Actually, his name change was granted because i specifically ASKED the dev to change it. Which is odd, considering YOUR statement that we never see devs on test. While the QA and Dev interaction has been low recently...it would be very inaccruate to say this has been the case for more then just the past few months.

I typically wouldn't say anything, and wouldn't become part of this... I was actually intrested in seeing the possibility of the transfeer service extended to other test players...since it was granted to others. however, i also can't sit and watch someone lie about the test community either.

You are perfectly correct. But u know what? They have done SOE LOTS of favors with testing in the past i dunno how many years already. Every time content was out, they at least tried to test it. Every time some change went in, they at least tried to test it. WTF have u done for sony? Exactly. And because of that, they DO deserve better treatment than you. Unlike you or 1/2 the other people on this thread, they havent ONCE asked for anyone else to get fucked over. Thats why they get the special treatment and you dont.

It was always intended for raid guilds to be transferred from Live to Test to test content you couldn't handle. NPU, tons of guilds have been transferred over in the past.

So Test was never intended to have an uncorrupt economy. The problem is when it happens in reverse. You can't now open transfers from Test back to Live, that's insane. That's duping.

and those guilds were not allowed to distribute their goodies when they came over, i got plat from a visiting guild once, when i was low lvl on my first toon, some guy gave me ONE plat for making a joke about cleaning up their horseshit on the docks where they were gathered to go do some raiding with QA, woot duping, ya want that plat back come roll a toon on unrest and ill hand it over, fuck ill even pay ya some interest

Does having a dev in your guild require you to suck that much SOE dick, or would you do it anyway?

Lucky you're just straight up full of shit, quit pleading innocence. I don't know about your guild but I do know about you.

I talked to you for a long time on test during the Isle of Mara test phase. You constantly bragged about your dev connections and linked/equipped all of your fabled gear that you had no idea the mobs it dropped from. You said your friend at SOE hooked you up with all that shit because you were on test and you were trying to get your guild capable of testing raids. Then, much like now, you were jealous of what live guilds had and blamed your lack of success for being on test and used that as a crutch to convince yourself you deserved all this free fabled loot you got.

So just drop the fucking charade.

SOE fucked up. Some underhanded favors happened that shouldn't have and now everyone knows.

The 50% xp bonus alone justifies never letting anyone leave the server. Let alone all the plat dupes, item dupes, broken shit and etc that has went on over on test.

So seriously, just STFU. Its bullshit that it happened. Saying that you never saw devs, never got handouts from devs and didn't have GM abilities on your test toon = lies.

So just stop it already. I understand why you'd try to downplay this since apparantly someone at SOE took a lot of convincing to get this done, but the outright lies are unnecessary.

I was copied over to Test once with about 250 plat. I gave it all away there. It wasn't a big deal. Many many others have done the same. Test was not supposed to be a protected economy. The live servers are.

Many people started toons on Test because of the 2x exp rate. I don't know your reasoning for starting there. But whatever it was,
thank you for your service to EQ2 and efforts in testing the game I play. I honestly appreciate that.

But, at no time in the past should you ever expected that your efforts entitled you to compensation in the form of a fully geared transfer from Test to Live. Your compensation was the 2x exp rate, plus whatever other benefits you also received from playing on Test.

And for the record - I personally would have no objection if people who've been playing on Test for at least a year were now allowed to transfer over NAKED on a one time basis, provided that will never again be repeated. Since they did it for your guild, I don't see how they can't do it for all legit players on Test.

But what I insist upon is that the Live server economies aren't corrupted with duped coin and gear earned and/or received differently than it would have been on Live.
