Bottom line is. Strike is one of the top guilds in the fucking game.
How is this so? Look at our fucking kills dipshit.
Who the fuck are you anyway - Some guy from Validus? Lol?l

I love you too hun.
Yes, i'm "only" a guy from validus. And no i wont start bragging about my guild (which just is a non-hardcore guilds with no avatar loot that take the same content as you. Might be worth poining out that we dont kick a person who acidentaly pulls a mob or screams at anyone that falls into the lava in VP) and i dont want to insult everyone in strike either, i know many of you are very nice people. Just that some of you realy needs to take that cock out of your ear! (no jaraxx, bert WAS first to 80, eat it up hun)
You are good, i can agree with that, you have some people that realy are extremely good on their class, but the best? no.
I played on LDL for three years and i think i've got pritty ok info, and if the "who kill what"-thread is up to date i dont think my conclcusion is that of.
And Mel, i totaly agree with you, there is nothing more important then good looks! But i beat you, i have 6 armor macros, each one with a different apperance slot setup^^.
I realy do miss some people on LDL, i realy dont miss some. I just hope posting this wont make the people I miss angry with me as well...

There's nothing wrong with wanting to take it seriously, most guilds (yours and mine included) do. I think it's uncalled for to stick your nose where you shouldn't and criticize other people's styles just because you don't agree with them.
Why, you say you played in LDL during 3 years, right? Well, might be worth pointing out that Torrent Knights, co-lead by Shandreya (formerly known as Eleyn, one of LDL's best bruisers back then) who if I'm not mistaken is now one of your leaders, had the policy of muting all members except leaders / raid leaders during raids...btw for those that do not know TK was a very good raiding guild in LDL during the first months of T7B, then they kind of got eaten by Earth and went to VG~.
Now, I'm sure screaming must be taboo for some (personally, I had fun doing it when I was in charge) but considering the roots of some of you guys...heh.
Like I said, it's best if people mind their own business. And if you can't...well, I'm sure there are plenty of guilds in your server to care about.
I always thought there was a paralelism between people picking on guild transfers when they themselves are transfers who simply couldn't amount to anything in LDL..well, there's also some trace of irony there, ain't that a bitch~?
Validus seems like a great guild and Splitpaw sure looks fun. You should really try to stay on your side of the fence rather than doing something that will put you in a position where you'll be burned down to a crisp~.

Hey Karel :p
TK did indeed use a moderated teamspeak channel for raids. This way predated my time, though, it dated back to when they were an ultra-casual friends & happiness raiding guild, before the merge with Rapture. I think that more than anything it was a product of an over-eager Teamspeak administrator wanting to make use of the various features of the software and sticking all sorts of flags on the various channels. Oh well, it worked for us anyways, and I can't say I have ever screamed or yelled at anyone, either in Torrent Knights, or in Validus, it's really not my style.
But that boring explanation aside, I guess I'm not sure what you were trying to point out? That TK was a totalitarian regime due to the fact that we raided in a moderated TS channel and people had to use /raid to talk? Hehe, I dunno, I just don't get what you're saying I guess :p TK was the closest thing to a semi-hardcore guild that had existed on LDL since T5 or so, so I guess it was an oddity for the server, but I don't think those 'roots' are terrible.
On the Strike topic, I had great disdain for them when they came over, to escape competition, because they drastically changed the landscape of LDL raiding, but now they are one of the top guilds and deserve full credit for that. Since almost all of those top guilds are on servers without credible competition, I now find it hard to blame Strike for doing that, they achieved what they set out to which was to become a better guild.
As to the overall quality of raiding guilds on Lucan? They are just "too nice", is all. I remember with no great fondness the headaches and misery and drama we had to go through to build a guild like TK on that server, alot of people don't want to leave less skilled members / friends behind, and want to carry them, even if it means greatly slowing down their own capabilities or progress. In the end, as long as you're having fun and playing the game the way you want to play it, you aren't wrong.

Hey, i thought this was the guild drama area
Well, the thread was dissing some guilds and i though I could add a few notes thats all.
And yes i did leave the server, not due to dislike towards the guilds, but simply that i couldn't keep on playing on those strange hours (european here..).
I realy do miss the family feeling back on LDL, world channels were much more cosy and all that while other servers (atleast my new one) have a more profesionalized feeling over them. One server is better for raiding while one is better for socializing, pritty simple.
Dont want to stir up some cross-server drama, atm i just find it a bit amusing that i'm being called an idiot for not worshiping strike.

Well, if I have to pick between getting a yell or not being able to talk at all during raids I'll stick to the former. To be honest I always found moderated TS to be too much, it ain't fucking kindergarten.
*But* like I said, we all have our own styles, nothing wrong with that. However, pointing a finger ("you do this, and that, and that other thing and that sucks!") means you are exhibiting a "holier than thou" attitude and that is just begging to be flamed~.

The fact that you went out of your way to criticize a guild that simply has no effect whatsoever in your gaming time means they have impacted you to an extent. Worshipping? Keep in mind that giving something attention, whether it's negative or positive, is to give importance to that particular something.
As for Strike, hey...maybe they are a bunch of cocksuckers (no offense intended) but they are LDL's cocksuckers~.
But hey...to be honest, I was just looking to throw shit at somebody maybe even start some kind of cross server war or shit...could use alts at contested raids and whatnot insulting people...good times~.

Your post is a huge pile of crap. Every other word is butchered. Your "statements", are not at all factual and do not make any sense. I understand this is a flame board but please stop posting. You are just lowering the intelligence of everyone here by everything you type.
I need to find out how you can ignore someones post because I get infuriated knowing that there is someone out there as stupid as you.
Once again I'm not even going to address this post because you are clearly an idiot.

Well, you kinda addressed it already even if just to say you won't address it...kinda weaksauce. We need new flammable material to keep the fires alive. Alts stalking contested raids would be the solution, imo~.
