There isn't a chance in hell of that happening on Unrest. Only way would be if some of the people who weren't picked to join Confirmed joined up with some of the better people on Unrest and formed up.

Or to a lesser extent, if peoples' ego get in the way in Confirmed - but I am sure some of that was thought of, when people were asked to move over.

Crushbone has some dang good guilds on it, just that they don't get the fame that some others do.

Ely started busting a nut on matron after Archon got it down to like 15% this was months before Legacy trasnfered over

I really don't understand why anyone would really care, but as far as competition is concerned there is absolutely no merit to this argument.

I was 100% behind a merge of guilds onto 1 server in T7 for there to be a mass competition server. The fact of the matter is this is T8 and there is no competition at this point and none is in sight. We currently have the least contested of any expansion, of those contested 90% of them share the same timer and and only 1% of 1% aren't broken. There is absolutely no contested "race" anywhere on any server at this point so for me I couldn't care less about that.

As far as the deaths of Second Dawn and Dissolution. I really don't feel that either are dead. In Disso, we had always prided ourselves on a survival of the fittest mentality. Unfortunately, with the extreme lack of attention this game has recieved from the individuals who are paid to keep it cutting edge, that mentality slight shifted from "survival of the fittest" to "fit enough to survive." I beleive this new guild will completely do justice to the general ideals of Dissolution and of Second Dawn and am very glad I could be a part of it.

One of the major reasons I had quit in December was that I didn't feel people were always giving 100% all the time. Even if this only means it takes 30 more minutes of raiding a day that time does add up. I decided if it was between me forgoing the hour a day I spend with my wife or raiding I'd rather be bored most of the week and spend it with her. In this guild I don't feel that this will even remotely be a problem and so far I havent had nearly as much fun as this playing with these people than I had in a very long time.

Ironically, yesterday I received a tell from Alucx on Kithicor which almost completely explains my point. Aluc and I were on Oasis together in Iniquity and are relatively good friends and he's a pretty nice guy, but what he told me was "so much for harcore raiders having no lives." This was in reference to the fact that Aluc has literally been working his ass off for a number of years through school and he finally landed himself a stepping stone to his dream job by being hired on at a predominant law firm. I was actually really proud of him. This was something that 3 years ago was just a dream in his head and now becoming a reality. I know for a fact that if at any point in time if EQ2 had gotten in the way of his goal he would have pulled the plug in an instant. This was pretty much my situation, I pulled the plug, and now I have a unique chance to come back in a way that will work for me and lots of very good players.

Anyways this is just my take on the whole thing as it pertains to me.

Yup, you made sure of it by going to Unrest. I don't understand how you can say if you transferred to Guk/Kith/Oasis/Lucan that there wouldn't be competition.

Guilds there are killing the killable avatars and as shit gets fixed they'll be killing Tangrin and the rest of the avatars as well.

Valor pops on Unrest, you guys kill it when you get to it. You wouldn't have that luxury on other servers and everyone knows it.

So, its kind of dumb to say that competition doesn't exist. It doesn't on Unrest, so your quote is really just a self-fulfilling prophecy.

With expantion having the least amout of Contested wouldn't that make it the highest lvl of competition?
