The point is my nom, that we arent hurting anyone. We are nothing but helpful to people, we do not belittle people, even tho we are constantly verbally attacked.
There is no RPing going on in the chats on RP server, matter of fact I constantly see talk about Vagina's, penis's, tit's, man tit's, RL politics, religion, what class is better, why EQ2 sucks ass....you get my point.

yesterday one of the guys who is most vocal about us (and believe me there are many vocal people) started spouting the word Jews in chat for no reason. Thats it....just the word Jews.
The Noms said to him, and I quote "Now that would be worthy of /petition". But we didnt /petiton him. If we so have to, we would /ignore him....problem solved. But even to /ignore you must really act the fool.
One of the main points of argument I see in chat, is that when newbies log into AB server and see us ending our sentences with -nom, it will scare them away because we are acting like WoW players. I say wouldnt it be the chat police who are flaming us to hell and back, that scares them away? Wouldnt it be the constant ooc talk of how much EQ2 sucks and is a dying game that scares them away? How about the constant using of the words vagina, penis, dick, tits ect, that scares them away?
We will probobly be banned, because they have gotten the GM's to speak to us several times now, and all the gm's care about is that they are getting so many /petitions from these people. I just feel that this sets bad precedent, in that if you dont like someone, or how they RP you can just keep /petition on them over nothing to get them banned

That server sounded like so much fun, I think I spent 2 mins there on a newb alt chit chatting with a friend about gear/ specs and parsing him and I just couldn't stand the retardedness of it all. If you don't like the nomnom way of RP just ignore it like the rest of the EQ2 world ignores you, the retarded asshats that are RP'rs.

Actually MO, I agree with you. But the thing is we are developing a culture and history for the Nomnom frogloks. While it may have been a funny name at first, we decided we liked where it was going and became serious about it. Like I said we had one guy who spammed the channel 1 day, but he got banned and righteously so.
I dont know, the biggest cry is that we are griefing. I just dont see how we are griefing by adding -nom at the end of our sentences. When players ask questions we answer them. When lower lvl's have a hardtime finishing a quest, we go to them and help them. Griefing? I see us as the ones being griefed at this point LOL.

Yep, most roleplayers in this game have a giant stick up their ass. This kind of proves it. One, there's no reason why roleplaying should be all serious, all the time. Two, these guys aren't just being retards, they seem to actually care about roleplaying. Three, I'd be interested to see where these crying faggots got their definition of "nom" from.
