Lol, 200 hits since this morning? Grats - this site gets over 200 hits per minute. For this month so far:



Yes, that is over 500,000 hits on 12/12, the day we hit our new simultaneous user record of 512. That is in fact over 5 million hits for this month, so far, halfway through. The "number of visits" column actually means "number of unique IP numbers that accessed this site on that day". So on 12/12, approximately 3200 different people visited this site, with as high as 512 of those people logged on at the same time. During December so far, we've been visited by over 36,000 unique IP numbers.

Just wanted to point out that this traffic was legitimate, and that the new simultaneous user record was based on several hot threads, the SoE servers being down, and other factors rather than us extending the timeout for inactive users to get logged off from 15 to 60 mins, as was previously suggested.

Portos, it was just a few weeks ago when you said the only reason anyone ever visited this site was to view the EL thread that I locked after you started spamming it with your stupidity. You remember when you said it would kill this site when I locked it? I think you were wrong, dumbass.

My sincere thanks to SoE for helping introduce new users to this site based on your server downtimes! I truly believe that what we have here is a symbiotic relationship.

I think it's time for me to consider ads on this site that are unrelated to the MMO secondary market. I'm just paying for this site month after month, when with a little non-offensive advertising, it could at least pay for itself.

i quit reading the newpapers ages ago, haven't watched the talk box for at least ten years - this is my newspaper these days. worthy of a thesis paper imho. when i arrived here i was a flaming noob - i learned my lesson being pwned a long time ago. it might have had something to do with me be blinding drunk and posting total shite, breaking the rules and inviting RL violence on another. i didn't even remember it until i logged on the next day and found me suspended lol. truth was, i didn't know how to flame, was owned, and now seeing the beauty of what flames could and can be, i feel that, when the time comes, i will flame with the best of you. truth is, it was at that point i became dissillusioned with the game, myself and the playerbase itself, through reading my posts that were nothing like me. they were vitriolic, antagonistic, and lacking any art of the flame. i was never in a high end guild but i done aight, even better than most ; but i never was involved in hot politic in game, and therefore i have never had a viable or justifiable opportuntiy to be a part of the high end politic. but i sure as hell enjoy this site, and i sure as hell appreciate it, and i sure as hell have studied the art of flaming through it. as i've said from the get go , this site is a political movement in and of itself, and is forcing the juggernaut that is SOE to re-evaluate it's relationship and accountability to its playerbase.

the fact is that, yes, it is a damn good game, and yes , people care enough about it, and they (i.e you) know enough about it to make it even better. i've come to realize that the cynicism people express in these posts isn't necessarily, or even related to,a cynicism that they experience in real life. it is a catharsis, a gut reaction, a love of the game, the joy of anominity in telling someone else to fuck themselves without having to deal with the consequences of a bat to the head. i know that surely, if some of us spoke to each other in RL as we do here some skulls would be busted, or perhaps , those words would be left unsaid . the displacement is a wonderful thing really. compensates for our instinctual and primal/carnal urges. i myslef can go either way.

anyways, i'm not tryin to derail the thread. this post is really just a comment and kudos on the traffic, dialogue, politic and general success of this endevour. i left before eof, i've come back to play with my brother for fun ( rolled a warlock and coercer on blackburrow and am having a blast - no pun intended.) flame my ass if you feel the need, this was really just an exposition and therefore worthy of some flame action as i haven't flamed shit. crucify me. what it comes down to to is gratz LFG, i've always had respect for the effort. not a fanboi, but i suppose my opinion doesn;t mean jack shit in that reagrd - imma fanboi if i am flamed as one.

dude. DH got way more contested after portos disbanded. They finnaly got Cheldrak AFTER portos Disbanded.

although I think portos was on joanna at the raid, I wasn't paying attention. They just said shoot the pointy arrows at chel'drak so I did.

But they did Gank MO while portos was helping EL, so does that count to?
