AoC honestly doesnt look like its going to have a great end game and alot of classes seem grossly underpowered in pvp.

idk though, hard to judge it when the beta only lets you get up to13 in a game that will have a cap of 80.

I need to get into Stargate worlds beta, see how they stack up.

Yeah that public beta is shitty and two updates behind.. I dont really know wtf there testing in it besides maybe stress.


Talk to Nadik about the endgame. They do have raid encounters setup but I know there focusing on the town siege pvp stuff.

The true PVP game is like one big complex dynamic raid the likes of which you have never seen in WoW.

think of it as something like raid vs raid pvp which is why some of the classes seem way underpowered. When your charging a city though you need a completely balanced force you will see why later.


Has nothing to do with your class its just not as stupid as WOW there was deffinately more though put into the PVP element in AoC and most of it is on a bigger scale.

Yes deffinately diffrent than DOAC but same similair feel. Plus there is the complicated city management aspect and 2 of the devs are pitching a heirachy system that sounds amazing. Add that with certain raid enouncters that will only attack properly built up cities that meet special requirments.. There are deffinately raid encounters finished as well is all I can say but I have no idea what the fuck is goign on with launch. That game isnt issue free but I can safely say this will cater to more people than vanguard.



Im deffinately looking forward to it.. the combo system takes getting used to but they have finnaly made the blocking ssystem kick ass.. (no more untalented tanking with only aggro to deal with.)


This game if they pull it togther is going to break people in the endgame so Im deffinately looking forward to seing what happens with some of the guys I know who only press there fucking buttons


I will let you know as soon Im sure which server everyone is starting on. I gave Brailyn a list as well but that guy doesnt even know me so I doubt he will be doing much with it. Ive heard enough good things about you Rlam to deffinately give you a shot if your even interested.

But i like the general feel of the class. need to try out some other classes though ~

I have heard Stargate Worlds will have that Daoc feel to it as well and frankly I like that Genre better, so I hope the people at Cheyenne mountain can deliver!

Conquerer class is too good to be true right now. I will be leveling up a gaurdian as well just in case they fuck it up... Right now you need a great conquere in a guild to win but they could easily change that.

they have some mean dps abilies but lack of shield and limited ranged weapons is a huge weakness against anyone that can snare. but on a team with someone to cover them i immagine they can get pretty lethal. along with those team enhancing auras.
