i have heard things from your LoS people and they talked about how you couldnt STOP talking about Phal adding all the more validity to your infatuation with her. what you fail to realize about an infatuation is that it does not have to be on looks alone. Phal may not be the hottest person that has ever played this game but she isnt some fat cow and her personality makes her all the more appealing to the average gamer... something that obviously is not wasted on you.
Now you can sit here and say that you arent this and that for phal and you could do so much better but the fact of the matter is that until you abandon your quest to follow phal to the ends of the earth and ruin her reputation for what you seem to have convinced yourself as being a "justified cause" you are in the same boat as the rest of the people that pay 15 bucks a month to play. Whether it be the head of a large corporation, a big time actor, or an unemployed hick that lives with his parents when we come into this game it really is for the same reason.
I welcome your retort to this, I really do, and you don't seem like an unintelligent person but you are blind to your faults as a human being and that inhibits your judgement on this particular topic.

I was on vacation sorry for not responding sooner. I missed a 3 day head start into AoC so needless to say that sucks... To be honest and to help you make sense of all of this If your really interested I do actually have a pretty healthy social life suprisingly. I'm obsessed with competition. MMO competition is much harderer for me than RL competition. In real life I have my looks, achievements, and alot of other things real life gives me... Here I only have past game achievements and honestly none of that stuff matters much. It certainly wont matter in AoC. That's the challenge and thats why I love these games... Mix that in with the majority of the user base being hopeless pathetic and you have a very unique mess... Dealing with and leading lots of social retards through pretty complex and highly competitive goals is why I play. I like it becuase its hard. I also occasionally find people that arent losers in RL that have the same goals so thats an added bonus.
Now on to Phal. The only time I talked about phal was when I thought she could use some negative PR and only as far as I can remeber when someone brought up EL first. Most people on the bazaare have a I want to be in the best guild period mentality. Phal isnt the worst guild leader to ever hit the bazaare but no matter what your retort to this is it doesnt change the fact that she is manipulative. Phal isnt all that smart but she is a woman... Therefore recruitment for her is extremely easy (Pathetic losers who cant get women sadly make for decent players...) even if she didnt find herself sitting on the farthest progressed guild on the bazaare she could have ruined guilds far beyond that. Phal did the same thing to Fortune in Risen that she did to LOS although the risen thing was much worse. See I dont like Phal becuase she cheats... she uses her RL (that fact that she is a women and is willing to do WHATEVER it takes to get someone she deems she needs.) I was powerless on the bazaare.. I wont be powerless in AoC which is why it pissed me off more in eq2. For example.... You can't fight people wanting to be in a better guild but you can warn them that Phal leads it which is pretty much what all of those conversations were.
If I was really infatuated with phal I would probably be nicer to her though right?
Anyway Florin and Phal have a history as well none of this stuff is new.
