Several times already after PvP'ing i'd be stuck with some bug that disabled ALL buttons on screen. I could still run around and jump, but could not DO anything. After about 15 minutes of sitting there, wondering why I can do nothing at all (and there were NO debuffs on me, this bug persists through death and reviving), I had to close the whole program and relaunch. Kinda sucks when your pvping and suddenly can no longer attack.... at all.... ever... because of a bug.
Yes I am sure bugs like that will be fixxed in time, but I'm just saying these are things that I dislike about the game. It has it's merits sure, but overall I prefer EQ2 greatly.

I havent pvped much in all honesty but jesus christ the graphics even at defualt settings are so much better than eq2 it should make your eyes bleed... not to mention that the characters are SOLID and there is little to no inclusion lag.. I mean this is funcom's first mmo and its fucking brilliant... tons of Raid encounters are already scripted and blow anything you have expieranced in eq2 if the keep it the same... (I promise you that man you have no idea...) I only expieranced that bug in closed beta. I was never on open beta as our server was locked down. Retail client is drastically better for me FYI.
Also very much like vanguard the dev's are actually available if you look hard enough. I had a ton of questions up front before joining and so far those guys have completely rocked on info while still keeping up with the no spoiler/advantage policy they have... (Unlike eq2 which not only actively cheats but could not give a fuck about you or anyone else paying the subscript.)
Here is the biggest difffrence... the game was made by people who love MMO's. People who appreciate the hardcore audience and cater to them.... If you can keep the all the losers happy with all the caqsual shit and keep me happy you are by far running a superior product...
Anyway Crab just a thought but you may want to hit this up again as if it keeps up like this the game could have a much bigger hardcore following than wow/eq2 ever did.
I remeber when Nadik first told me about AoC and I told him how much I thought that pvp mess of a game was going to suck...
As long as they dont fuck up the endgame this is the game to beat.
