so you like tanks i guess heh.... Is guardian hard to play effectively? gotta be actively shifting your defense and stuff seems very involved.

Extremely hard...... to keep aggro you need to be landing your attacks effectively as well meaning not hitting someone with a left strike with 3 shield marks on the left side... Aggro isnt easy like your tool tips tell you it is either at higher levels.... Especially on multiple mobs conquerer was a breeze to keep aggro and yet the guardian when I pull 4 or 5 mobs I end up having to pull out all the stops to keep people alive.... I think the tanking classes in this game may very well be one of the most complicated classes in the game to play well.

This game is starting to remind me of vanguard more and more at the higher levels though which is not good... Im going to focus on building a city now I guess and leveling all my tanks and hopefully in a month they will fucking itemize shit past level 40...

I'm waiting until a couple of friends get to 80 and start farming dungeons to make my final descion as its possible the end game loot is intact.

Conq seems much easier to handle after launch, mobs i had trouble with in beta were cake.

what exactly did they nerf that made you not want to play one? the Carnage talent tree still looks bad ass to me.

agro is a breeze as well, tbh i hope it gets harder cause i was pulling and holding agro off a level 18 assassin at level 12 last night.

got up to 16 then went to bed, havent been playing it alot. I'd rather continue to do Heroic MgT nightly then level grind in AoC =p

need more badges for epic gems!

lol this is simply a discussion about Age of Conan, and why EQ2 owns it, as well as every other game in existence.

.... it's because eq2 has bruisers!

There used to be certain combos where a conq was required to kill certain raid bosses otherwise you went through a really really tough moment before the encounter died were it was invulnerable and would start one shotting people... they abandoned this completely.. same for need for conq's in pvp siege...

You will be stuck off tanking (probably not even tanking honestly as a DT is a better OT.) You will simply be in the dps group now... Wasnt my thing...

Conqs are great solo'ers and great group tanks... not so great of a raid tank...
