I've finally figured out what this guy is: he's AMWAY for MMO's. His speech riddled with cheap work-from-home-business sales phrases.

There is a guild just like this on AB named Blackhawks, they take anyone (and own the famous Carotidcutter-looting warlock Barleywine who wanted it "for the avoidance").

Maybe you could send a tell to Antonia_Bayle.Kaalenarc and see if your guilds could merge on your server and become the BIGGEST....WORLDWIDE!!!!!!!!

Blackhawks isn't even remotely close to shit as Zermes and his guild is, and no offense Zermes but a picture's worth a thousand words, and from those pictures I don't think much of ya. Anyways, they don't poach from other guilds. They just jump all over the noobs who post that they are looking for a guild, or people they group with who are unguilded.

As a Co-Leader of a small Guild (The Chosen Few, mostly a group of friends that got together to form a guild.) and a member of Envy (3 alts in there) I must say that Zermes has indeed put on a poor showing for himself, both as a player and as a leader. I too was inundated with tells about how I wouldn't be in Envy if not for him, how the guild was stolen from him etc, etc,...

I wish I had his email he sent out to the guild about the supposed "stealing of the guild" from him and how the only way he would come back would be if he was re-instated as "King of Envy".

How his email stated that he was going to have all of envy blacklisted by all the top guilds. (not a way to endear yourself to those you left behind, telling them they will never get a group again because you will have all of envy blacklisted with the other guilds.)

I don't understand him, and I feel bad for the players that left Envy to follow him because now that they are seeing the way he really is they are leaving nemesis but are embarrassed to return to Envy cause they believed zermes and not the others in Envy.

(and yes zermes, some have left you and I have talked to them, and no, I respect them enough not to mention their names here for you to harass them more!!!)

I wish him well, because outside of all this crap, Zermes seemed like a nice enough person to me, but, well, this subject brings out a side of him that isn't the person I knew in envy at all !!!!

Am I standing for or against him ???? neither, I am relaying some things and venting a lil frustration at the way this game makes some people behave.

I also have an alt in Nemesis and have seen the recruitment tactics of Zermes while in my main guild trying to "buy" toons. He puts on this schpiel about how Nemesis can use an up and coming playerand how honored he would be to have them join nemesis... way to go Z, your banned from life.

A few of Zermes words struck a nerve with me from his original post & I wanted to pull them apart a little bit to help understand the person behind the remarks....

Why?? to buy a guild house that hasn't even been put into the game yet, even after his fellow officers said they thought it wasn't a good idea at the time. So zermes sent out a guild wide email asking for money from everyone.
Where is the rest of the money in Envy ... he spent it on the toons in the guild to endear himself to everyone by buying them armor and weapons, rather then endear himself through deeds and actions of character.
p.s. the officers of envy have been trying to contact the people in the guild that donated the money to give it back or keep it in the bank as each person who donated it decides.

Most of these "officers who had not been in envy a week" were people brought in my Zermes from other guilds and promised rank for their pledge to the guild!!!! Meanwhile the people already in the guild were passed over for promotions because there were too many people in the higher ranks due to this recruitment practice.

If there was a guild wide vote now he would still be gone.
The main 2 leaders, Tay & Xom, have spent the better part of 2 weeks sending guild wide emails out & talking in guild chat answering everyones questions and letting the guild members decide what they wanted to do as far as guild membership.

The practice of removing people leaving the guild from the guild page was also something you started Z, so guild members wouldn't know when someone left, or got booted from the guild because they didn't agree with you.

I wish you luck running your "alt" guild although I am curious as to why a Guild Leader would start a second guild when he is supposed to be running the guild he is leader of. Was he getting ready for the future. Doesn't show much support for your guild. I can understand guilds such as paragon having alt guilds, I was a member of "I wish I was in paragon", an alt guild with strict requirements to join, for awhile before joining Envy. (unfortunately I didn't get offered any money to join Envy, guess I didn't rank at the time.)

But I know Envy isn't an Uber raiding guild and all alts have always been welcome there. Were you getting ready to jump ship Z??
Or did you know that your practices were going to get you bumped eventually??

hmmmm .. 'Boycott this guild' now those are harsh words from someone who wants the general membership to bring him back.
Notice how he doesn't say 'boycott the officers', but instead says to 'boycott the guild' which would include everyone in it.
He said the same thing in his guild wide email about how he was going to email all the top guilds and have them "boycott Envy" unless he was re-instated as 'King of Envy'. And the really interesting part is that the email was sent out before people had left Envy to join him.
He may have done that as a recruitment tool... 'I'm having the entire guild boycotted so you should come join me so you don't have any problems getting groups...' it's possible, I don't know for sure, and I really don't want to know. And yes, I know it says officers, but in his post it states that all in Envy are shit, not just the officers. It was the same with his email.

All in all it's a very sad situation and has hurt the players more than anything else. people that used to joke around while grouping, just hang out on ventrillo and B.S whether crafting, working on writs, quests, ww events or just trying to lvl up,.... it's all screwed up now because 1 person took too much unto himself and was called in to account for it.

So, now Envy is trying to rebuild, Nemesis is trying to grow, and a lot of good friends are split up over the actions of 1 person who was called to account by the group of people he set up to help him govern a guild called Envy.

To everyone else out there looking to start a guild I can only say this,
Start with a core of friends, and work with them, keep them in the loop when decisions are made and be willing to listen to co-leaders, it's why they are there.
Above all else, always think of your accountability before you do anything that impacts the group as a whole.

You never know when your actions will come back and bite you on the ass!!!!

i think confirmed has 4546 members

when i was in Xanadu we had 9482 members and i think strike has 5678 members

yeh big guilds are awesome especially if u want to make raids with 8 Xegonite tanks in and a couple of 800 parsing wizards that parse that because there to busy gossiping rather than mashing buttons

out of all the guilds ive been in i got to know people the best in a small hardcore guild (Xanadu) i imagine its the same for people in small non hardcore guilds aswell
