I'm really curious to see where Second Dawn is being discredited. You mean you think that someone claiming "insider information" translates as people suck in your guild? That you lack the ability to handle difficult encounters? Fact remains that you could have a perfect strat and you still aren't garunteed to beat the fight. Hell and in the case of EOF, you have to pull 8 times just to get through all the buggy shit.

You keep playing that card. You said yourself 5-10 seconds lag isn't bad. You've yet to recognize 45 second lag here as being anything other than Disso being sub par to Second Dawn.

Also for clarification:
What I meant by several versions of Hurricanus didn't have anything to do with different scripts. We'd fight a "new combat" Hurricanus while we were under old rules (for resists, diminishing returns etc), then a new Hurri with us under new combat, old and old, etc. The script was always the same, what changed was how hard he hit, avoidance, mit, our raid dps, etc.

The beta timeline was like this:
Stage 1: SD and a few other guilds in for combat testing in old content
Accidental Fae creation available briefly, quickly removed

Stage 2: Combat changes go in, EoF opened and the rest of the world starts getting beta invites, beta buffer goes in, etc.
SD and other guilds get tossed at a couple obscenely incomplete and bugged mobs and zones.

Stage 3: The whole world turns upside down, they change just about everything overnight and release the expansion

So Dissolution is actually better than Second Dawn at killing the Gardener because despite SD killing him twice before Disso killed him, Disso had worse lag during the encounter, which translates to more skill?

Is there a program to measure lag duration and interval that I'm unaware of?

Edit: I hope you come back and read this edit. What bothers me most about EOF is sometimes there's huge lag and sometimes there's zero lag. It's as if you have to get extremely lucky with no lag conditions, etc etc. I personally don't know how much lag there is on other servers when the charm sets in, I know here once it happens it's a wipe everytime. What makes it go down like that? No clue.

Does SD have an advantage because of that? I'm not saying they do, they are saying they do. By stating they only get 5-10 seconds of lag on charm makes me jealous. Shit - I'd even be down for server transferring to Najena if that's really the case.

people were in beta yes thats very obvious, a LOT of people were there. As a fantabulous raider or not beta was kinda busy.
Yes people have lag, i agree it has to do with the computer you run on and also due to server and zone you are in. Lag will always be a reason for people to bitch it shouldn't discredit the kills they make.

Disso should not worry they WILL clear the zone and kill it all. we all know that this is the point of disso existance, to kill shit and get it done. why be upset if you didn't get it WW1st? you'll more then likely get server and imo that should be a proud moment
