Snark do you have a router? Like a linksys or something? Might be able to refresh your DHCP address through the GUI and see if you get a new one.

Other then that, turning off the modem (which I do all the time so it won't effect anything) MIGHT do it....you also might be able to change the DHCP address through the modem yourself, but I would rather you look up how to do that yourself, then me say how.

You forgot to list the lag issue Nektulos has vs. other servers. Not sure why we have so much lag with all the guilds and people that have left us to go to more popular servers though. Seems like we would have the least amount of lag. Who knows.... Great recap though. lol

Check when your lease on your IP is nearing its expiration and leave the cable modem off/unplugged near that time. You can view that with the /all switch, obviously. There is a high chance you'll get a new one once you power back up after expiration, assuming another modem requests an IP.
