That’s all well and good lad, but how about you compensate me for my time?

Groundless accusation is commonly accepted as an admittance of guilt.

What leadership, you addmittly both burn out and fade away then come back and live in a fantasy land where you're content asking decently geared tanks to step down so you can play your tank, Yeah 3 cheers for you on that, that's a real responsible leader for you, You like to play like you have power, but in the end, no one respects you. So go play cap'n somewhere eles cabin boy, and try posting some actual facts before you attempt your thred locking method mentioned eairlier.

This is my history, you make the call, on my DKP record.

Everything happens for a reason, or so logic dictates.
This wasn't a lashing out, for the means of displaying raw power, or was it?
My perception of the cause for this further is confirmed by the lack of explanation. I asked for it the night I was kicked, before, during, and after. I was told, the Leadership (IE: raid leader) thinks you should find another home.
Then wishes me well and everyone else in the guild tells me
"I don't know why, but I'm sure he has a damn good reason. I'm going to miss you bro."
To which I reply,

"Don't call me bro; Bros watch out for each other, bros don't let this kind of thing happen for no reason. You’re not my bro, or you would be looking for a better explanation right now, instead of offering empty condolences."

Now this is charted as a family guild, I’ve seen some people do some stupid things, and suffer no consequence for it and. in fact, be promoted for it. You can do better then some form letter explanation, and well wishing to explain this I hope.

I found out all I could by sending out mails to everyone in the guild Initial message to everyone:

Quote:
They (*Raid leader*) kicked me out of *the guild*, and I don't know why.

I said I wouldn’t take my hate transfer off but I did, and *the raid leader* kicked me out of the raid. Then, after the raid I spoke with him and he told me that I was wrong and his action was right.

I asked if I was going to get DKP for sitting out, and a leader told me no. So I decided I was done raiding with Mals, and wanted to make my Bruiser my main (since they get fabled out for free). I sent him a tell asking to make these changes, and he told me he thought it would be best for me to find another home.

When I asked for an explanation they just blew me off, kicked me out of vent, and blocked me on the website. Perhaps you might have some more insight into this?

I'm terrorably confused, and I feel a little ripped off, being as I had 325 DKP.

Malstorm”

This message was sent via any out of game mail I could find, because this was an action that affected me directly, as a person. The respondent(s) will be kept anon because it’s their choice to come forward if they so choose.

I guess I don't understand your thinking here.
  • Did you feel your time in the guild was well spent? Or did you feel the guild was wasting your playing time? (At least before you were deguilded?)
  • You raided, you got the fruits of raiding, ie: loot, kills, and strats.
  • You lose no personal status or really anything else when you leave a guild. Anything you've purchased as a result of status or guild levels stays with you.
  • All you've really lost is a guild tag. Your reputation hasn't been smeared all over (discussed here, but not smeared, not even vaguely flamed), you haven't even lost "face".
Yeah, it sucks leaving a guild for any reason, and I'm not trying to minimalize your feelings, but I really do not understand why you feel you deserve compensation.

(This is not a flame - I'm really interestred.)

Edit: we posted about the same time. So, you feel you should be compensated for 325 DKP, which is really just "potential" loot?

You're too modest Tal, your like the MDX of friends. No one here needs to know that though. It might just be the two sets of adornments you provide, and the ones you get me within a week of a new upgrade, but I think It's a little more then that.

I'm going to have to agree with Metran here. He's doing his best to provide you the information you seek, and you repeatedly ignore it as it doesn't come from the one person you consider a leader.

Metran is a WONDERFUL guy. I give him props for posting in a thread as inflamitory as this.

Sometimes I guess it's best to just move on.

I think Dissolution should compensate me for the mental damage I took during the course of time I was guilded with Gaige.

I really fail to see anything more then oblong, sidetrack, and move along excuses in those postings. Really, what was the reason I was removed from the guild when I asked personally I got no answer, I ask publicly and I get no justification other then [Abridged to prevent reader eye hemorrhaging] "Because we have the powa, and it's totally alright." Of course the exact same set of complaints has been set aginst Cataclysm. I looked for answers in every way and only one person was brave enough to investigate, and fill me in on the answers that they received this is how that interview went:

Response was as follows:

I have no idea what happened exactly to you being banned. But wouldnt mind hearing your side of it. Although I'm sure whatever it was had to be pretty bad since your the first person to be banned from CS. Anyhow I still only have heard bits and pieces of the leadership side, what the fuck happened?

Also in response to:

So, fess up. What'd you do?

RE WTF:

That's why I'm kinda confused. The act of removing me from the raid was extreme, but to ban me from the guild is ridiculous. On the raid, a guild mate asked me to take my hate off the brusier, I told him no, but did it anyway. Then *the raid leader* sent me a tell asking if I was being a smart ass or just stupid.

I was offended, and told him it was good to hear from him, suggesting it was offensive for him to think me stupid. Then 15 minuets later, he kicked me out of the raid, and asked me to leave the zone.

When the raid was done, I asked for an explanation, and he called me to the leader’s room. He told me I was out of line in not telling him what was up, and *another leader* took up the call in agreeing with him. Then he tried to justify it with, "I told you what to do, and you didn't do it", but I did, and it wouldn’t be heard. I tried to tell them that the bruiser would die instantly if he was taking anything more then AOEs. Then I asked if I was going to be awarded DKP for sitting out on the raid, and was told no.

Being totally displeased with canceling all the (much better then sitting out of a raid) plans for the night, I said, and then there's nothing I can do. That's when I asked *the leader* to promote my bruiser to my main, and that's when he kicked me out of the guild.

I had 325 DKP, I'm confused as to what's up. It's like *the leader* was having a bad night, and he used that to excuse removing me from the guild. That's my side, what have you heard from the leadership?

Hey! Could I sue my old other-MMO guild for slander, defamation of character, punitive damages, emotional damages and sexual harassment?
