I wasn't too thrilled about the pic either, but that's my PERSONAL point of view and it may not be shared by the majority of posters in that thread, just as yours was not either. You made your opinion known, the people in the thread decided they didn't care and went on. You tried a second time by QFE'ing it and once again, they chose to ignore it again, which should have told you that the mass audience of that thread was not your audience and thus, nothing was going to change.

They were not, per se, ignoring you specifically, but the opinions of the people in that thread did not mirror yours. You can't just walk into a thread, drop your opinion, and expect everyone to bow down to it. You didn't like the pic, but many others thought it was fine. Thier opinion overruled yours. Was it right? eh, that's based on perspective.

Threads and boards do not bend to the will of any one person except the person moderating that board. LFG could wipe me off this board and ban me for life at a whim. Since the Red Names who over see that board seem to be ok with what's going on there, then it is working as they intend it to and they're not concerned. When they do get concerned, people will know about it.

No you're mistaken. I have no problem with the picture. I had a problem with people insulting those girls simply because they were fat. I reitterate... they're judgemental assholes, let them judge all they want. Their opinion doesn't matter as much as they'd like to think it does.

And yet you posted it not once, not twice, but three times in the same thread. I understand your belief in your opinion Elaine, but for you to say that you don't care what they think and then to keep posting your opinion after it has been made known that it isn't the opinion of the mass audience there says two totally different things.

See, if you read the flame forum about me, you'll see that while I can sometimes be quick to judge, I am also quick to admit when I've judged incorrectly. I've already admitted that I was wrong about Coyote and Radar, and that in the past I was wrong about Fumtik as well.

But the NGD regulars obviously are not willing to give me the same chance I am willing to give them. If that means changing the rules, fine, change the rules. If that means enforcing the rules, then fine, enforce the rules. I don't care which is done. Obviously the board has changed, slightly, to take care of the rampant derailing of threads that were found "uninteresting" or "unfun." Great. I'm glad that's the case. And I've seen threads that were "unfun" or "serious" posted and was happy to see them remain underailed and stay on topic for the most part. I didn't go in there and rub anyone's nose in it, I didn't act smug or anything. I merely noted personally that things had changed to be as they should be.

If the regulars don't want to give me a chance, they can go fuck themselves. They are prejudiced and judgmental bastards, picking on people and judging me without ever getting to really know me. I can promise you that the NGD regulars who have bothered to talk to me (Radar, Coyote, Hazel, the list goes on) have found me to at least be bearable, and not an overbearing bitch like you are trying to paint me out to be.

I'm sorry if I interrupted your little playground. Maybe if you weren't so personally attached to it, you could moderate it the way it should be.

Well, unfortunately, you were the first to judge and so it goes. I'm sorry if you felt it was harsh, but you have to admit that it was honest, and I do try to do that. I gave it to you as I honestly see it because I respect you. If I thought I had to candy coat the facts of life, I wouldn't have bothered with you at all.

A couple of notes..the NGD has always had its own set of rules. Wait..lemme rephrase that..not it's own set, just a more lax version of the same ones. This is true of the PvP forums as well. Because of the nature of these forums, they are given a little bit more room to breathe. I think most people pick up on that, but should it be posted somewhere? I'm not so sure about that, because its always been up to the sole discretion of the moderator in charge to dictate how much room these forums get. The next CM may decide the he or she wants the NGD handled as any other forum and we may see the rules enforced as they are on the Gameplay forum. Who knows.

And, I believe that only Echgar and Raijinn are supposed to be moderating the NGD.

Please do let me know if I have to play Miss Polite with you..I can do that too. I just thought that you wanted the truth and not me blowing bubbles up your ass and smiling.

A lot of folks considered NGD a fun and happy place and you've made them feel like its not. Sorry if that makes you feel unwelcome, but when Aunt Edna does nothing but complain about the cleanliness of the house and the blandness of the food, then she is probably not going to be invited to many more parties after that.

Loolee that isn't accurate. We all know in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Aunt Edna didn't complain at all. She just said the pledge of allegiance instead of grace at dinner.

Hazel I'll give you a quick tip. This is "one of the stupid people" you'll need to learn to ignore here. There are one or two more, that like nothing more than to see their own ideas in text, and are incapable of reading comprehension on a 4th grade level. Years of anger management therapy might make them a worthwhile part of society but we'll never know.

For the most part aside from some childishness you can easily ignore, I've found a number of people here fairly intelligent, and worth discussing things with.
