You give too much credit to me being pissed. I don't get my panties in a twist over anything in the forums because people like Ishbu (and apparently you as well) are usually 90% inaccruate and just talking smack. I don't give two shits what people who whine about Devs think, because they never come up with anything other than "Blah blah they should be fixing blah blah instead." It's very a compelling arguement. What's funny is you ignore the fact that you can't point out where the Devs are posting in NGD. The ratio to NGD vs Non-NGD posts is so ridiculous, I doubt either of you even bothered to look before you started yammering about it.

I tell you what does piss me off though. When somebody runs their mouth and hasn't the slightest clue what their talking about. My tolerance for stupidity and ignorance is low. Do your homework first.

I never claimed to be an expert. What I can say with full confidence? I'm apparently smarter than you, because I at least don't claim I can "own" people in anything. You don't know me from Adam, and I almost guarantee, you are underestimating my understanding of the game. Even hypothetically if he could? OMFG he can click buttons faster than I can, he's the master!!!111

So did either of you have any actual points or were you just venting? A lot of people around here seem capable of intelligent discussion, so I'd hate to waste any of it on people who aren't.

Oh and by the way...what I said to Ishbu was mild at best. I haven't "lit up" anyone in a very long time.

Where most of the Dev posts end up so lets see... Ok 9 out of the last 50 posts on the Dev tracker are in NGD. 6 are Brenlo's who isn't even a Dev and the rest were related to the current Community Manager leaving SOE.

As for the boards needing to be only related to EQ2. Every game forums for every MMO I've ever seen has an off topic thread. Tell you what since you know more than the rest of the entire industry, you start an MMO and break the trend.

I went back through August and can't find a single Dev who played a forum game, and do you know why? They don't play, because there are always douchebags like you, who are going to bitch about them taking 5 mins out of their lunch to post, versus fixing a damn raid encounter only 0.0005% of the game is going to see. Some of these guys are the hardest working people I know.

So in closing, thank you for taking the time to talk completely out of your ass. I'd take a handful of goofy ass NGDers over a bitter, angry, whiner any day of the week. Your anger is admirable, but you lose. Good day sir!

Do you know what the "Community Manager's" job is? They are supposed to bridge the gap between the players and the devs. Do you know what Raijinn's job is? He is supposed to patrol the boards, keep things clean, and help out the community manager on what are hot topics. Those 2 people spend 90% of their posting time in the forum games and NGD bullshit. They enlist the help of players who do nothing but spam useless crap on the NGD boards to have omnipotence over the regular posters who actually play the game and have a clue about what would make it better.

Oh and by the way, I never said bashing the game. I said saying what they really think. I dont think anyone here who has even the slightest clue can argue that I didnt write pages upon pages of constructive, helpful, nice, polite, and insightful feedback on major things that are causing a whole demographic of the player base to start turning away from the game. But no, I am not allowed to voice that opinion because the minute I do its overrun with people of a different demographic, a fair number of wich are NGD posters who spam useless crap and the NGD mods then lock it. If I attempt to re-open the thread I get a warning. If I lose my temper because of the bullshit I get banned. Talk about a load of crap.

I expect people like you to defend SOE to the death because you work for one of their "chosen" sites. You know, a pointless NGD site that mentions the game but is mostly filled with useless crap, yet SOE supports you, endorses you and promotes you.

So the Moderators, Developers, President of ass munching etc etc get upset when the players bash them, I say fuck SOE, fuck the fanbois too!! Infact I say fuck anyone who gets upset when a player says, your design of the xx encounter is fucked and you suck as a developer. If you suck at what you do and people pay for said service, you should be told how bad you suck without being able to retaliate.

How could you even fucking understand what anyone is talking about when you consider the raiding population to be .0005% of the game? I was merely pointing it out, apparently you couldn't even grasp that.

I don't need to give you a ratio to actual posts doing something productive to doing something non-productive. One thing that pisses me off though is DEV participation in bullshit when they could be fixing bugs that have been out since the game released, just as a small example.

SoE folds - big fucking deal - Blizz or some other MMO creator gets some more hardcore raiders (as well as solo and group players). Crying? Do me a favour.

Are you really this dense? 70+ hours a week? God your fucking stupid. A week of raiding takes about 10 hours, not 10 hours a day. I would bet that most "high end guild hardcore raiders" play less than you middle of the road casual players in a week.

He referenced 70 hours a week because I said I play that much once in the Summit forums. So of course because I raided 10 hours one week and sat around goofing off and doing alts and stuff the other 60 hours that means every hardcore raider plays 70 hours a week.

You're. Not your. I usually don't quibble on grammar as I'm horrid myself, but when calling someone else fucking stupid, try to do it without looking fucking stupid yourself.

70 hours was a tongue-in-cheek dig at Gaige, but FUCK YOU if you think for a goddamn SECOND I believe that all the "hard core raiding" is done in 10 hours a week. 10 hours total playtime, MAYBE, 10 hours total on time and I'll call you a fucking LIAR.

And guess what asshat? This isn't always about YOUR guild - there are, and I don't want to shock you with this... OTHER raiding guilds besides yours, no matter HOW important you think your world is. In a LOT of "high end" guilds there are REQUIRED hours of on-time, play time, and the required hours COMPLETELY fucking shatter your little 10 hour mark.

You might be at 10 hours a week now numb-nuts, but dollars-to-donuts you weren't always, and that's what I was refrencing. I thought it was raining but it was a drop of blood - you getting a nose bleed way the fuck up there on your high horse?
