Edited 'cause it's Monday and I forgot to quote what I was responding to :/

In the case of guys that post despite their guild "frowning" on it, well, a smile is a frown turned upside down right? Ok that made no sense, but posting in the face of frowning isn't quite the same thing as posting in the face of "no", don't you think?

As a member of one of those frowning states, I'd have to agree with that, LFG. You know you'll most likely get a warning before getting into too much trouble posting after a frown. Doesn't take too much of a brave/stupid/rebel complex to get you through that threat.
Posting after a "no", however, could potentially be a booting offense. That takes a little moxi, a lot of stupidity or lack of respect for your leadership. In my case, should the occassion arise, it would be the simple result of being to old to believe a generic order for loose cannons to control themselves would apply to me... of course, that might be attributed to the stupidity factor...
And I wouldn't think any anon poster could possibly earn a "my leader said I couldn't post here but I did anyway, nanananabooboo" award, as the rebel with out a clue can't exactly be pointed out to their leadership if no one knows who they are :P Unresteditor got one for LFG's appreciation of said anon poster's work, not for giving a finger to his/her leadership for defying guild orders.
