So my husband takes his inquisitor on a DC sponsored labs pickup raid. They're hard up for a mem wipe so I agree to log in when it's time and do the mem wipe vyemm for them. Mind you, I'm studying, not playing other games or goofing off. I feel like I'm doing them a favor.

We go in, kill vyemm after 3 attempts, my husband is the only one smart enough to come rez me after the mem wipe, and I'm calling ae's and the whole bit. Mob dies. The SK/Inquis BP drops. My husband rolls; his toon is wearing a Tier 5 bp from BAOW. The main tank from DC, Sizzar, says in vent 'Man I don't want to give it to him'. He then procedes to roll lower than my husband. Someone in ventrilo says 'hey he's in vent, Sizzar.'

My husband, being way too nice, tells the guy he can have it and so he takes it. So then we kill alzid, and no one has said a word to me other than 'give me buffs'. The raid is over and still nothing is said to me. My husband tells me about the bp incident. I'm now pissed.

I've gone into Labs for DC multiple times, I die too much each time, I have NEVER gotten loot, and now I'm not even getting a thanks or a hello. But man, when you fuck over someone I care about for a piece of loot, that's where I draw the line.

Oh and that fucktard Slipperyx starts making passes at my toon, again, and acting like an AM fanboi.

That is just plain fucked up right there. And your husband was a real gentleman for not going totally off right on the spot. I think I probably would have.

Guess you'll be doing Labs with another group of people from now on, and from the sound of it it's their loss and not yours. Better luck in the future....

Man I rated this five stars. Highly entertaining narration of some really low class behavior. Fuck those people, seriously, good luck to them on wiping to their own labs raids in the future without your help.

I've allways been curious about the whole "sponsoring" of raids.
What exactly is beeing sponsored?
I see stuff like this in 60-69 chat all the time: "Guild X is sponsoring a Labs/Lyceum/HoS/DT raid next sunday. Looking for: 2xdirge,troub,defiler,mystic,2xtemplar,swash,coerc er,illusionist,warden,fury,brig and dps"
What the hell is beeing sponsored??? .. it's more or less saying: "3 peeps LF raid! Pst plz"

My first couple nights on Butcherblock I attended some pickup raids that were hilarious for the shenanigans. They do know any 350 tinkerer can memwipe for them don't they?

Yep, it gets resisted but you can spam it. I've seen resists on Amnesia too.
