Pre-before I quit I could templar single heal the instances aswell as melee, proc, nuke, debuff, hammertime, etc... whats the issue here? Does this fucktard play with his nose? I dont see how anyone cannot dps and heal.

DPS is really overrated anyway...instead of killing the mobs i think we should read them poetry and sing songs while they beat us to death

But seriously.. a fury parsing 0.00 DPS after 2 hours in SoS? Come on.. Even a defiler can do 300-500 without trying. Anything to help the group is part of a group member's job, and a healer getting in there and meleeing the hell out of the mobs will do nothing but help the mobs go down faster and make the healer's job easier. So why wouldn't you DPS?

the only time on my lvl 80 fury that i dont dps that much is if i am the only healer, and out of power alot, which lately is rare, so i toss nukes in whenever i can, i dont top parses, but i show up insmaller doses!

and here all this damn time thougt inquisitors where just a dps class.. WTF is this shit we are supposed to heal to?? and cure.. blasphemy.. /irony off

just like what all the other uber healers are saying if ur group aint dying and ur bases are covered get ur punk ass in there and get to swinging or get to casting...
No the healer is not supposed to top the parse but damnit they better be pushing some numbers... anything jesus... even auto attack can show up or dogs or ring of fire or something... fuckit spit on the damn mob if u gotta throw a gnome at it, if it will add dps to the force do it...

Templars who can't heal and dps suck at life imo. To those templars/healers can't or will not heal and dps, go fucking play a scout class and mash buttons.

ok first off ....Frogdorr ...ahahahahahahaha ...now then.

As a lvl 80 fury I get drafted alot to go play in rok zones where I am sometimes the only healer...I've solo healed Maidens and even Chelsith keeping my group up and casting my lil wood elf ass off.
Furies are the best in that situation imo for the simple fact that all you really need to do (barring multiple adds like the floating goos in chelsith FUCK YOU DEVS for those damn things /grumble) is cycle your single regen on the tank...and your group regen and hibernation..while those are doin the healing CAST YOUR FKN DOTS AND EVEN YOUR SINGLE TARGET NUKE...i cant say i endorse melee ..cuz i usually dont melee much /hangs head but i'm more squishy than a cleric or shammy and i make up for it by NUKING.
Anyway..no Legate you're not wrong and any fury that isnt AT LEAST debuffing and casting a dot every now and then needs to be smacked in the head. That is all

But yes, my templar had suck gear and managed it - and it was an alt. Anyone who doesnt dps with a templar main sucks at life.

Even when I play my Fury and I am the only healer in the group, I usually at least have the time to throw the 2 fast casting DOTs, use the group flame-damage buff, and on group encounters throw Feast and/or Hib. The fury debuff is kind of slow to cast, but I can usually get it off when the group doesn't have a better equipped debuffer. Even with all of that, I am very seldom even low on mana except for when the group gets a bad pull, then I might go as low as 20% :p

It's just a matter of understanding that you have more than 3 spells to use.

What is funny to me, I played a Cleric in EQ1, the contention that they just healed is rather stupid. A Cleric had to use stuns, roots, heals and the smite, especially when there was noone to snare runners. All healers, whatever class, are there to help keep the party alive, and heal spells are only part of the arsenal to accomplish that.
