Ancient Vengence has alot of great folks in it. The Rivalry (in my opinion) is good natured and except for a few mis-steps by individuals, I think both of our guilds get along just fine.

I usually stay out of these places. Never know when my name will come up ;). AV has a rich past, during the time I served with them they were a low drama generally all around good guild. Then there were changes. I was asked to leave per a more hard core agenda when they decided to "step up" the action, monks were not wanted anyways(if they could they'd only use 5 certain classes in any raid). I wont say Reix was my friend, he most definatly was not but I had, still do have respect for thier oldest member core. That being said, I would not have remained with AV after the influx of new members. Most of them make my toenails itch. Sure, no more Fingurs. Don't worry though, you got Kenman to take his place. This dude irritates me, and not cause he usually beats me in duels either. Lotsa server transferees came. My observation is that people who leave a server due to problems they had over there tend to bring thier problems over with them. AV may be #2 or 3 on server uberness but the price that appears to have been extracted is too steep for people like me.
Far as Seige goes, /shrug, I got no opinion of them, itused to be negative. I don't hear complaints about them like I do AV. Maybe now that I dont share contested with them as part of AV is why I have no negatives to say about them anymore.
Tayger, I stick up for you, have in past but come on man - You know your shit stinks too. You can't post something like this and not expect some shit to come back at you too. You're one of the best conjies I seen play, when your sober... You keep a parse going with high dps and shards, you're practically a crack dealer with that toon of yours, when you're sober. What we pour down our mouths does affect what comes back out. I've endured catfights with you and other mages in group in raids. Not saying it was just you looking for fight but man, you go for the freakin' throat when something don't go your way. Gotta watch that temper ;)
I'd tell AV to kiss my ass but fuck it, they still got good people in there. Better than I can say for some guilds on najena...

I don't raid drunk often... very occasionally do I get a little buzzed to make the raid zones a little less gay =) I would say it does not have any effect on how well I play... actually it seems I can focus in a little bit more on my casting order when I have some liquor in me =p

Not sure you and I ever got in a disagreement, I guess you remember something but I sure as hell don't. The only person I had a problem with was karrat... who parsed below 50 dps ZoneWide as a troubador... and who... sucked.


I would tell them redlance, they pretty much hate you more than you hate them... don't give respect you dont recieve in my opinion.

Monk is my main, always has been since early Eq1 and all Eq2. Always will be. If AV had a problem with me guess things worked out well for all I did not complain, I did what I was told and I did NOT slack off. One thing I did not like about AV was thier tendancy to make raid groups in such a way where group 4 was almost always the "gimp group", the monk or even 2 monks if both were in raid, a pally or two, sometimes a healer thrown in for good measure. I can count on my fingers how many times I saw a dps buff applied to me in the 10 months I was with them yet some would hint that a monk, more specifically me, was nomally useful and not decent dps but the Bruiser was "uber". The couple times I was in same group as the bruiser I outparsed him more than visa versa. Funny what a few buffs will do... Point is I did not make an issue of it. I did what I was told like a good soldier. Off raid times I'd group and quest with guildies. Yeah I miss some of them but am well aware that some held negative opinions of me. If I was screwing up, you'd think someone would say something. My AV days are through, I wish them luck, more specifically, I wish the decent human beings in that guild good luck. Every guild has a slump, and exodusses and "uber" guilds are no exception.

From what a know.. too many guilds have a call list. Too many guilds have a thing about cliques. It's normal. It's society. People socialize in groups.

The only reason I could agree with shittiness is sucking in Emerald Halls. But you know.. not everyone is perfect. =/

Pheonix Elite's members set a very high standard for guild slamming on Najena( my favorite thread for EQ1 or 2 and the best damn thread ever imho) and you are way below that incredible standard.

You can say that AV sucks deserves to die etc, but ya gotta go the extra yard wheres the evidence the dirt as it were.

Logs Logs Logs, I wanna see someone in the guild sending you a tell about how much they hate thier fucking guild, post a fucking a screenshot for the love of god it dun cost anything and one picture is worth a thousand words.

Vent logs shit I'd follow a link to hear some guild go batshit on itself during a raid. I love free cheezy entertainment.

Supporting cast, wheres the back-up to your post I didn't see anyone say yup they all suck and here's why. Your supposed to get 3 or 4 more people(ex-members preferably) as pissed as you are to pile on the post at the same time.

Now I can think of a few AV members that I wouldn't want to group with (and no Kenman isn't at the top of the list or even on it.) but none I would take to the level of the whole guild sucks because they're in it, although the theft guy Jenica mentioned certainly skirts that line narrowly and only if someone could show proof it happened and the guild leadership did nothing, once again evidence is everything.

So in summary while amusing, your thread lacks the substance to make it really juicy I mean the PE thread wrecked the whole guild, a marriage, reputations and was coffee talk for weeks thats the level of phenomenal bullshit we expect from our Najena Guilds not laddy dah he said she said threads.

I wouldn't call Kenman a stalker. I think "pet" would be more accurate. If Pere wasn't such a kick ass tank I don't think Kenman would be able to get away w/ what he does.

I see nothing in this thread explaining how AV sucks. Except maybe the incosistency of EH you mentioned. And who cares why that happens, most of the time its the members that show up or don't show up that determine that.

Call list, so what? We are just in the beginning process of building this. Everyone has got to start somewhere. Who cares if we cannot fill a raid when calls go out. Eventually we are working our way there.

Tayger I see nothing you posted that is wrong with AV. All I see is you have some problems with the members. So do I, but direct your comments toward those specific members not at the guild as a whole.

O BTW thanks for all the publicity. We are getting a huge number of applications coming in
