Account hacking? that implies someone hacked a secure SOE Login server, then just randomly happened to choose her account name and password to steal?

If it wasnt random that implies they also hacked the character server to find her character and then the station name associated with it.
(I am no expert on SOE's server set up but that sounds about right to me.)

the most likely anwser is that she gave her account info to someone and neglected changing it after pissing them off or she clicked on a shady website and downloaded a key logger.

I vote for the former rather then the later. Anyone in her guild that actually believes its a hack should probably see WinWin about being sterilized.
